Bonus Round 3: FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

• Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
• Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
• Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
• Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
• Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

• 400 words (prose)
• 400px by 400px (art)
• 14 lines (poetry)

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

He remembers who he is on a cloudy December afternoon, the snow falling it soft flakes that settle against his skin like old memories. It feels like waking up, halfway through a life only to realise that it's just another flower in a much bigger garden. He shuts his eyes, soaking up the feeling of all the years that he has seen, all the lives he has lived, and opens them again, the golden shine to them just a touch duller as he realises that his soul is reaching out into an empty world.

He is not here. The world feels hollow for it, even colder than the midwinter chill, and he thinks that perhaps it would have been better if he didn't remember at all, but he won't deny that it's good to feel right again. It's good to know that at least one person in this world remembers him, and will continue to remember until they're reunited.





It used to happen every other lifetime; his soul doesn't always wake up in whichever body he's wearing this time, and he lives from birth to death without once realising that he is more than who he thinks he is, that he is not whole, not without his memories, not without the other half of his heart and soul.

Recently, he's woken in every subsequent life he's lived, whether young or old, blinking his eyes open to find himself changed, the world changed around him.

It might be a sign, he thinks to himself. Perhaps they're getting closer. Even two gears moving at different wheels will have their align just right, every once in a while. Perhaps this is his chance.





They're young, and they're strangers for all of five minutes as they talk for the first time, before he wakes up to himself.

"You," he breathes with surprise, blinking with eyes as bright as the afternoon sun that bathes their skin in gold.

"That's Kasamatsu-senpai to you," comes the reply, before he wakes as well, taking him in with surprise. He greets Kise with a softer, "Oh."

Smiling, Kise feels everything in the universe align for one beautiful moment. He wants to bottle this feeling and keep it forever, or at least for this lifetime. He knows better than to be greedy for any more than that.

"I came for you," he murmurs, and it's impossible to keep the smile off his face. "I waited, and I finally found you."
