Bonus Round 3: FSTs

FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES
  • Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
  • Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
  • Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
  • Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

If you see anyone breaking the code of conduct (e.g., causing drama, being rude) anywhere (not just DW), please contact the mods immediately.

SCORING
These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post).

Have a question? Check The FAQ first. If you still need help, feel free to contact the mods. Happy fanworking!

***

He remembers the bright and exciting summer nights with the smell and sounds of the festival in the air, back when he was young and still learning what it felt like to be in love with someone, but even though he knows that they're his own memories, it feels like the entire thing happened to someone else entirely.

His life now feels a lot colder than those nights did, and it's hard to think of looking at anyone and feeling that would fill his chest with that much love, that much wonder.

Since the finals, he's felt like he's had every positive emotion slowly crushed out of him, until he's lost the capacity to feel them at all.

Still, Shigehiro can close his eyes and think of Tetsuya, and it doesn't matter if he feels like it's something that's happened to a distant stranger instead of his younger self. It doesn't stop Tetsuya's smile from being the brightest thing he's ever seen. It doesn't stop the memory of their arms brushing against each other shivering down his arm now, like a phantom touch that he wishes that he could just reach out for once again.

But those days are behind him now and he can't even think of Tetsuya without thinking of the bright red 11:111 lit up on the score board, and the sinking realisation that he can try as hard as he wants, only to have someone stronger still treat him like a plaything.

He can't think of Tetsuya without thinking about the way the betrayal in his eyes was reflected right back at him, the pain, the horror, a contrast to all the messages Tetsuya would send, about how much he enjoyed his team and respected his friends.

He wonders if Tetsuya was lying to him all along, but Tetsuya isn't that kind of person. It means that Tetsuya didn't see any of this coming and it's bad enough that Shigehiro is suffering. To think that Tetsuya is suffering too doesn't bring anything but pain. There's no satisfaction to be found in sharing something as soul crushing as this. He wouldn't wish it on an enemy, let alone the first person who taught him that smiles could linger the same way touches could, the same way the soft, familiar scent of someone could cling to his clothes long after they've parted ways.

The summer days are long since over, and it's winter now. Shigehiro doesn't feel anything but the cold.
