SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

An oldie but a goodie—in this round, we draw inspiration from famous words said by other people.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
- Example: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." -Friedrich Nietzsche
- The quote can come from almost anything—famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, etc.— but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

BOKUTO IS THE PRETTIEST BOY, TELL THE WORLD

Kuroo had never been in a fight before.

It was Yaku's birthday, and Kuroo had grudgingly agreed to come out despite being smack in the middle of writing up his thesis, and the fact that it was hot and everything was loud, and sweaty, and awful. Everyone was a little rowdy, probably because of the heat, and Kuroo would've been the first to admit he was a little distracted, but it wasn't really his fault when an errant heel stuck out in front of him.

Kuroo fell face first, crashing against someone else in the crowd and spilling the three beers he was carrying in a catastrophic splash that drenched himself, the stranger, and several people in a metre wide radius.

Doing his best to keep hold on the slippery glasses, Kuroo staggered to his feet. The front of his shirt was soaked, as was the back of the shirt of the stranger in front of him. A space cleared around them as the stranger turned around.

He was a little shorter than Kuroo, but fairly stocky, with broad shoulders and impressive biceps. Kuroo licked his lips nervously.

"You okay?" the guy asked, squinting at him.

"Sorry," Kuroo said, glancing around for his friends. Where were Sawamura or Oikawa when he needed them?

"You always that clumsy?"

Looking back, Kuroo found the guy watching him. He had his hands on his hips, which made him look a little intimidating. Kuroo's insides twinged nervously.

"We got a problem, pretty boy?" he said, dredging up a line from something he'd seen on TV recently.

The guy's eyes widened in surprise. "Pretty boy?" he said, hands falling to his sides.

Kuroo winced, certain he was about to get punched in the face. He really didn't want to get punched in the face. Maybe he could dodge; he still had pretty good reflexes.

The buff guy was still watching him with a curious expression. Kuroo raised his chin. "Yeah, what about it?" he said, trying to seem nonchalant. "Got a problem?"

To his surprise, the stranger threw his head back with a burst of laughter. "Akaashi!" he yelled, putting his arm around Kuroo's back and steering him to a small group of people gathered near the bar. "Akaashi, this guy just called me a pretty boy!"

Akaashi turned and gave Kuroo a scathing look. "I suppose beggars can't be choosers," he said, before turning back to his conversation.

Kuroo stared at him. "Uh—" Kuroo's new friend burst out laughing again, and Kuroo frowned. "You do realise he just insulted both of us, right?"

"He just hates bars," the guy said, grinning up at Kuroo. "So hey, sex hair, what's your name?"

"Sex—" Kuroo said, bewildered, before giving himself a mental shake. "Kuroo." He looked down at the empty glasses he was still clutching and frowned. "Uh, I need to replace these."

"Let me buy you a drink!" biceps guy yelled with an eager smile. "I feel bad, that wasn't your fault before. Hey, I'm Bokuto by the way!"

Kuroo deposited the empty glasses on the bar and turned back to find Bokuto still grinning at him. "Well, uh. Nice to meet you, Bokuto," he said, the smile catching on his own face. "Or should I just stick with 'pretty boy'?"

"Keep calling me that," Bokuto said, leaning closer. "See what happens."

Kuroo swallowed hard. "Game on."
