SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

An oldie but a goodie—in this round, we draw inspiration from famous words said by other people.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
- Example: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." -Friedrich Nietzsche
- The quote can come from almost anything—famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, etc.— but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

After the sixth unanswered text in a row, Yuri was convinced that Otabek hated him.

He and Mlla were sitting under the bleachers in front of the football field, like they usually did during lunch. Milla was perched on one of the support beams, her legs dangling above his head as he sat on the ground and stared at his phone, willing a text to appear.

"Are you sure he's not just in class?" Milla asked, popping her gum as she scrolled through her facebook feed.

"He's not in class—we have the same lunch period," Yuri snapped. "I saw him pull out his schedule in homeroom."

Milla raised an eyebrow at him.

"Shut up, Milla."

"I didn't say anything."

"No, but you were thinking, and it was fucking annoying."

Milla just shrugged. They sat in silence for another couple moments, listening to the distant chatter of the other high school students enjoying the spring weather on the lawn.

"He told me to text him during lunch," Yuri blurted after closing and reopening his messaging app for the fourth time. "He gave me his number and said, 'Text me during lunch.'"

"So? You already told me that."

Yuri reached up and aimed to slap Milla's ankle, but she yanked her leg out of the way before he could make contact. "If he wanted me to text him, why hasn't he texted me back?!"

"Because boys are dumb," Milla said. "And don't hit me if you want me to give you advice."

"I don't need your advice..." Yuri grumbled, even though that was the whole reason he was talking to her about this in the first place. Luckily, Milla chose not to call him out on his bullshit this time.

"How long has it been since you texted him?" Milla asked.

"Way too long."

"How long is way too long?"

"I don't fucking know," Yuri said. He checked his message history. "Uh, twenty minutes?"

"Hm. Well then, he definitely hates you."

"Milla!" Yuri shouted. He did manage to hit her leg this time.

"Ouch! Okay, okay, I was joking! Obviously," she huffed. "Just give him more time, okay? God."

"How much more fucking time does he fucking need?"

"I don't know! Don't ask me stupid questions."

Yuri growled and tossed his phone across the dirt. The second the phone hit the ground, it started vibrating.

"Was that a text?" Milla asked. Yuri scrambled forward and retrieved his phone. Sure enough, there was a tiny "1" next to his messaging icon.

"Yeah..." he breathed. "Yeah, he uh. He texted back."

"Well, what did he say?" Milla asked. She hopped down from the beam and tucked her chin over his shoulder. He shrugged her off and jerked his phone away.

"None of your fucking business."

Milla pouted.

"...Fine. He wants me to meet him in the parking lot. He... brought his motorcycle to school today and wants to show me."

"Ooooh, he's going to show you his motorcycle—"

"Shut up," Yuri said, but he couldn't even put the appropriate amount of bite in his voice to make it sound genuine. He smiled stupidly at his phone. He probably looked really dumb, but for some reason he honestly didn’t care. That was a first.

"You should go see his motorcycle then," Milla grinned. "Go get him, tiger."

"Yeah, whatever," he laughed. "See you after school."

"Or will I?" Milla winked suggestively.

"Shut the fuck up."

"No, you shut the fuck up and go hang out with your new boyfriend"

"He's not my boyfriend," Yuri mumbled, "...yet."

yeah yuri go see his "MOTORCYCLE". awww this is SO CUTE. i always love when yuri is angry that he has feelings for other humans.
