Bonus Round 4: Quotes

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

An oldie but a goodie—in this round, we draw inspiration from famous words said by other people.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
  • Example: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." -Friedrich Nietzsche
  • The quote can come from almost anything—famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, etc.— but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
• Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your quote-inspired fanwork.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Everyone here is an idiot. I’m smarter than every teacher and they don’t even realize when I’m being insolent.

It’s not as much fun without you. Nobody laughs at my comments. I have to dumb myself down constantly and pretend to be on their level. I hate this. I hate you.

That’s not how you write a love letter. This is how you write a love letter.

I love you. When you came into my life, you ushered in a new era where I was no longer alone. I had a true equal besides me whose mind matched my own for quickness and insight and now you have left me forlorn. I think back on the days before we met and though they were dull, they did not pain me as the present does for now I have the richness of our days together to compare against my current anguish.

There is nobody in the school who can compare to you for intellect or companionship. The jokes I make fall flat upon ears that have not the wit to appreciate my remarks. My incisive commentary goes unappreciated and I think of you and how you would have laughed to hear my thoughts voiced so cleverly. Even the teachers who have been entrusted with my education cannot keep up with me the way that you would have. Even when I mock them, as they so rightly deserve, they are deaf to my insolence. Spoiled by your sunshine, I find myself unable to bear the misery of the misty moors that I have been exiled to without your presence.

In order to mingle with the natives, I find myself compelled to hide my own intelligence and speak with them in their own coarse tongue. How I long to talk once more with you, my beloved. I love you as much as I detest the current situation I find myself in. I love you as I love happiness, for you are the only happiness I have ever known.

THIS WAS SUPER ADORABLE, I grinned like a fool all the way through because the first letter was such an awkward love letter but gave me all the fond feelings of the first love letters I received, and is basically an I miss you, it was such a warm and fuzzy feeling I never expected to have towards Hanamiya.

And then I literally I had to walk away from my laptop for a bit at Imayoshi's follow up, I was blushing so hard my roommate asked me if I was sick again asdlkjas;

and then the last two were so lovely, I laughed so hard. Thank you so much for sharing! <3

THIS IS PARTO F THE FUN OF HAVING PEOPLE ADD IMAHANA ONTO STUFF RANDOMLY, I get really weird prompts to figure out how to work with and it's so much fun!

But yessss, the first is totally a love letter and Imayoshi totally saw that. And then he just rewrote it in fancy language and if you're blushing, just imagine Hanamiya's reaction. Like just blushing and hiding his face and trying to scowlt o stop himself smiling because that's definitely the first love letter he's received and it's a corrected version of his own and Imayoshi just kills him sometimes.

If I hadn't run out of words, I would've 100% written a bloody, sexually missive as Hanamiya's response. With a "I don't love you. I want you out of my head." line.
