sportsanime | Bonus Round 4: Quotes

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

An oldie but a goodie—in this round, we draw inspiration from famous words said by other people.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
- Example: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." -Friedrich Nietzsche
- The quote can come from almost anything—famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, etc.— but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Kisumi had escaped from Sousuke’s arms with arch laugh and a backwards, flirtatious look.

Sousuke looked back. They'd only been dating for a few months now and already he thought that Kisumi might be … Well, someone special. The one. Sousuke knew he tended to fall head first in love, but his feelings for Kisumi had blindsided him.

They'd always been friends, even in the times when Sousuke hadn't been much of one, and then, suddenly, like a bolt from the blue, Kisumi had confessed to him.

It wasn't that much of the surprise that Kisumi liked boys too -- he tended to attract all sorts of people, regardless of gender. But that Kisumi would like him? Sousuke had let his surprise show and Kisumi had laughed and kissed him, saying teasingly that he had the romantic self-confidence of a much uglier man.

Kisumi always said strange things like that.

Sousuke couldn't help but think that most of it was intended to get a rise out of him.

(And in fairness, it usually did.)

Kisumi stuck out his fluffy pink head from the bathroom. “I'm gonna be out in a middle. I've slipped into something that'll blow your socks off.”

Sousuke frowned. He'd already begun to take off his clothes in anticipation. Weren't they going to have sex?

“My socks are already off,” he explained patiently. “I just want you naked.”

“Oh, Sousuke! The things you say,” Kisumi said with a wave of his hand before his disappeared again. “You'll see my naked body soon enough.”

Then he laughed, a little sinisterly, and Sousuke fell a little more deeply in love.

“Close your eyes!” Kisumi said from behind the closed bathroom door. “Lie down on the bed and relax.” Sousuke sighed loudly and did what he was told. Suddenly, he felt the weight of something heavy and plastic in his hands. It sloshed a little bit when he moved it.

Sousuke opened his eyes. He saw Kisumi in front of him wearing a very smart, very slim-cut suit. His hair was slicked back and he wore a dangerous grin. He was also holding up a water gun and shot it directly into Sousuke’s face.

“Kisumi--”

“Ha! Head shot counts for double,” Kisumi said smugly.

“What.”

“C’mon Sousuke, I’ve waited years for this! Since that day in high school, anyway. We’re playing spies vs spies and I was even nice enough to give you your own gun!”

Sousuke took up his own weapon and tested in his hand. It was full of water and just begging to be used. His first shot at Kisumi missed. That pink-haired devil just ran, cackling as he went.

“You have to catch me first!” he shouted, as he ducked behind the kitchen door.

But Sousuke was determined now. He would have the last word.

Last squirt. Whatever. He’d have it.

AH I'M SO GLAD THIS GOT A FILL... and omg this is so cute?? i love that it's totally not what sousuke was expecting and LOL THAT REFERENCE TO THE OVA... kisumi did literally show up for three minutes to ship bait and that was it tbh, it's perfect. also idk if it's intentional but "last squirt" is SUCH an innuendo i'm giggling like a child.

Haha, it was a 1000% intentional. This was a lot of fun to write and you reminded me of what a great show Fresh Prince was. :3
