Bonus Round 5: Clue

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Sometimes, all you need are a few little details to imagine something bigger. This round is inspired by a classic board game with a cast of colorful characters, but for SASO your only limits on "who", "where", and "with what" are what you can imagine (and the SASO fandom list, of course)!

This round closes on 5 August @ 7PM EDT. (Countdown Timer.)

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with the format of a Clue mystery - "[character] in the [location] with [item]", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
  • Example: Sawamura Daichi in the teachers' lounge with the Hello Kitty! lunchbox
  • The person in your prompt MAY be a member of your ship, but is not REQUIRED to be part of your ship. They must still be a named character from a SASO-nominated fandom.
  • Your place must be a physical location, not a state of being or a state of being. However, this location is not required to be real, nor must it be from the same setting as the characters.
  • The "item" used must be a physical object that the character can hold or manipulate.
  • Unlike the board game, your prompt is NOT required to imply murder. The scenario implied can be anything at all! (As always, please tag properly!)
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
• Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your Clue-inspired fanwork.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Yachi turns the ring around and around on her finger, feeling the smooth glide of the gold against her skin. Inside, the date and their names are engraved and when Yachi slides the ring off and runs her finger against the letters, she can read it almost as well as with her eyes.

She puts it on again quickly, still too delighted by the novelty of it to want it off for long.

“Married,” she says to herself, testing the word out on her tongue. “We’re married.”

She can’t help but giggle in delight, holding her hand up to admire the slim band of white gold. Yellow gold was more traditional and would’ve stood out more against their skin but the cool beauty of white gold had won them both over. The salesman had suggested platinum as instead, but it had been out of their price range. Titanium had been more affordable but a little research had shown them it would be nigh-impossible to resize as their hands changed.

In the end, they went for white gold, as cool and lovely as the moon.

“Ms. Shimzu. This is my wife, Ms. Yachi. This is my wife, Ms. Shimizu. This is my wife, Ms. Shimizu-Yachi.” She introduces an imaginary Kiyoko to her reflection and giggles again, giddy with the pure joy of the moment. They’re both keeping their own names but still, it’s fun to pretend.

‘My wife’ sounds better than the names do anyway.

Yachi kisses the band lightly and glances back at the bathroom door. Kiyoko’s changing in there and Yachi can hardly stand the suspense. They’ve been to bed together before, of course, but this is their wedding night. Surely Kiyoko has something special in mind! Yachi splashed out on a lacy white nightgown with tiny silky straps that comes down to just over the tops of her thighs. The matching panties are lace and all but see through, enough that Yachi can see the soft puff of her own blond curls pressing against the fabric.

Oh. Should she have shaved? Kiyoko’s never expressed any desire for her to do and Kiyoko doesn’t shave but what if that’s what Kiyoko is laboring so long over in the bathroom? Suddenly worried, Yachi brings her hands up to her mouth and nibbles at her nails, forgetting about the perfect French manicure that Kiyoko had so lovingly done for her.

No. She won’t worry about a thing. Kiyoko married her, hair and all, and it’s their wedding night.

It’s going to be perfect because she’ll be with her wife and that’s all that matters.

oh man this was incredibly adorable and sweet and fluffy :') i couldnt help but to giggle too as i read. this made me incredibly emotional, i am so here for yachi being over the moon to be married to kiyoko. this was to die for, ive read it like 485 times now. thank you friend <3
