Bonus Round 5: Clue

Sometimes, all you need are a few little details to imagine something bigger. This round is inspired by a classic board game with a cast of colorful characters, but for SASO your only limits on "who", "where", and "with what" are what you can imagine (and the SASO fandom list, of course)!
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)
RULES
- Submit prompts by commenting to this post with the format of a Clue mystery - "[character] in the [location] with [item]", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
- Example: Sawamura Daichi in the teachers' lounge with the Hello Kitty! lunchbox
- The person in your prompt MAY be a member of your ship, but is not REQUIRED to be part of your ship. They must still be a named character from a SASO-nominated fandom.
- Your place must be a physical location, not a state of being or a state of being. However, this location is not required to be real, nor must it be from the same setting as the characters.
- The "item" used must be a physical object that the character can hold or manipulate.
- Unlike the board game, your prompt is NOT required to imply murder. The scenario implied can be anything at all! (As always, please tag properly!)
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your Clue-inspired fanwork.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
- Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

When Sawamura had suggested they take on passengers to cover costs, Kataoka had been against the idea.
But then Chris had agreed, and reminded Kataoka in no uncertain terms that they needed the coin, and that was that (Kataoka had reminded Chris of his soft spot for the boy, to which Chris had laughed and reminded Kataoka that he was far from impartial himself when it came to their boisterous engineer).
Still, that didn't keep Kataoka from feeling wary.
He just wishes that sentiment wasn't vindicated mere hours later after he kicks open the strange crate one of those suspect passengers reveals a human being in cryostasis.
They all stand in dumbfounded silence, collective gaze fixed on the figure huddled on the floor of the cargo hold.
Kuramochi takes advantage of Isashiki's jaw-agape shock and wrests himself free of the mercenary's grip, moving to crouch in front of them.
"Hey," he murmurs, hand reaching out. "Miyuki. It's me—Kuramochi."
The figure—female?—inhales and exhales in ragged breaths, but otherwise doesn't show any sign of movement, no indicator they heard Kuramochi speak.
"Miyuki," Kuramochi says. He pauses, then: "Kazuya."
Something shifts in their awareness, eyes snapping up to Kuramochi. "Youichi."
Kuramochi pushes Miyuki's hair back, and now he smiles, a tender thing that Kataoka can barely look at.
He realizes, suddenly, that this moment was meant to be private, somewhere much further away from the Core, and definitely not in the hold of a smuggling ship with several witnesses of questionable moral integrity.
Miyuki doesn't seem to notice, though. "You came," he says, quiet with awe.
"Of course I did," Kuramochi says, and in his voice Kataoka can hear the conviction. "Did you really think I wouldn't?"
It's there that Kataoka decides he's waited long enough; he clears his throat.
They both look up, and the fear that appears in Kataoka's eyes tells a story—one he doesn't quite understand yet.
"Care to explain?"
———
It's only once they have Miyuki in the infirmary (sedated, for precaution's sake) that they all gather in the mess, Kuramochi shifting on his feet as they settle in to listen.
"Start from the beginning," Kataoka says.
"Don't leave anything out," Jun grumbles.
"Jun," Chris warns, and as always Kataoka finds himself grateful for his first mate's steady presence. He turns to Kuramochi. "Just help us understand."
Kuramochi clears his throat. "Miyuki is—well. He's been my best friend for years, and there was always this—sense—that everyone had that he was different. Nothing held his interest long, nothing kept him occupied or challenged for more than a few weeks, maybe months." He pauses. "At least, not until a letter came to his house a few years ago, talking about an elite program the Alliance was facilitating, something that would put his mind to use. So he went."
He sighs. "At first, things were fine, but then letters started getting weird—references to things I didn't remember, people we'd never met."
"They were coded," Chris says. "We used a similar system during the war."
Kataoka shifts. "Continue."
Kuramochi nods. "Eventually I was able to figure it out, and then, well—Miyuki was in trouble." He says it as if the conclusion was obvious, inevitable.
"So you fronted an escape from an assumedly highly-guarded Alliance facility on your own?" Jun asks.
Kuramochi meets Jun's eyes evenly. "I'm not a genius like Miyuki, and I don't have this crew's experience with less-than-legal enterprises—" Ryousuke snorts "—but I'm not fool. I found the right people, pulled the right levers. And Miyuki's father isn't a poor man."
That sits for a moment before Ryousuke asks: "He's that Miyuki?"
"If you're referring to the steel magnate, yes," Kuramochi answers.
Jun straightens from his place against the wall, ignoring Tetsu's placating hand on his shoulder—"You mean to tell me the man's daughter—"
Kuramochi bristles. "Son," he corrects.
"I thought—"
Ryousuke clears her throat meaningfully.
Kataoka isn't interested in laboring over this particular conversation. "His son," he prompts, hoping Kuramochi will understand the cue to continue.
"Miyuki senior was more than willing to have Miyuki out of his hair," Kuramochi mutters.
"But he let you use his fortune to get him out?" Chris asks.
Kuramochi scratches the back of his neck. "He doesn't realize, strictly speaking, that Miyuki is out. It was a small amount, in the grand scheme of things."
The room falls quiet, everyone processing the implications.
Finally, Jun asks: "You pulled a con on the owner of Miyuki Steel to break his own son out of Alliance captivity?"
Kuramochi shrugs. "Basically."
Kataoka stands. "I'd be a mite more impressed if you didn't bring the full weight of the Alliance's scrutiny onto my boat."
"I never intended—" Kuramochi starts, but a raised hand from Kataoka stops him short.
"I'll ask you to rejoin your friend in the infirmary. Our medic, Haruichi, is helping him how he can, but I need to confer with my crew."
Kuramochi swallows. "Of course."
He leaves without another word, and Kataoka sighs.
Passengers were trouble, he'd told Sawamura. Nothing but trouble.
