Bonus Round 5: Clue

Clue

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Sometimes, all you need are a few little details to imagine something bigger. This round is inspired by a classic board game with a cast of colorful characters, but for SASO your only limits on "who", "where", and "with what" are what you can imagine (and the SASO fandom list, of course)!

This round closes on 5 August @ 7PM EDT. (Countdown Timer.)

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)

RULES
  • Submit prompts by commenting to this post with the format of a Clue mystery - "[character] in the [location] with [item]", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
    • Example: Sawamura Daichi in the teachers' lounge with the Hello Kitty! lunchbox
    • The person in your prompt MAY be a member of your ship, but is not REQUIRED to be part of your ship. They must still be a named character from a SASO-nominated fandom.
    • Your place must be a physical location, not a state of being or a state of being. However, this location is not required to be real, nor must it be from the same setting as the characters.
    • The "item" used must be a physical object that the character can hold or manipulate.
    • Unlike the board game, your prompt is NOT required to imply murder. The scenario implied can be anything at all! (As always, please tag properly!)
    • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
  • Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your Clue-inspired fanwork.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
  • Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

Three vignettes with the jersey. Last one has some mild sexual content!

***

“Just a few more photos,” Sakamichi’s mother said as she snapped shot after shot of Onoda in the polka dot jersey. While nobody was sure if Onoda’s mother even understood what the Tour de France was about or what he was doing, she was as supportive as possible. She was even accompanying the support staff from hotel to hotel to make sure that Onoda was comfortable!

“Wait, can I have one with Makishima-senpai too?” Onoda beamed and hauled Makishima into the shot as well, spotting him trying to skulk off from the commotion. He wrapped an arm around Makishima’s waist and Makishima reluctantly stretched his face into a monstrous smile that was almost as terrible as Imaizumi’s.

Letting go of Makishima, Onoda said earnestly, “You’re the one who taught me how to climb, Makishima-senpai. I would never be here without you.”

“You’re the one who earned it.” Makishima tousled his hair in response to that, ill at ease with the compliments but trying hard to inspire Onoda anyway. All of Japan was watching, thanks to the news crew that wouldn’t leave them alone.

Spotting Manami intently watching a butterfly, Makishima suggested, “Why don’t you and Manami talk about the climb?”

It’d make good TV and more importantly, it’d get the cameras to leave Makishima alone!

*

“Climbing? It’s dying,” Manami said, looking right at the camera as he passed Onoda his water bottle. By now, it was tradition for them to switch water bottles at the end of the day.

“You mean it’s like dying, don’t you?” Said the worried news reporter tasked with interviewing Onoda and Manami.

“No. It’s dying. Your brain doesn’t get enough oxygen and the cells start dying off. That’s why you feel so free and light.” Manami smiled, unashamed and uncanny, and the reporter quickly switched the camera to Onoda instead.

“Onoda-san, how do you see climbing?” She asked brightly.

“It’s the best thing ever! I love climbing!” Onoda gave his typical enthusiastic response, grinning at the camera as he flung an arm around Manami and hugged him. “And I especially love climbing with my friends!”

*

The polka dot jersey was long enough that it ended over the top of Onoda’s pale, muscled thighs. Midousuji tugged it down a little further, pulling it against Onoda’s stomach and then letting go to skim his fingers under the hem of it.

“Ah--Akira--” Onoda panted, squirming on the bed with his hands on his hot cheeks. “I don’t think we should do this to the jersey. What will the next person to wear it think?”

“Nothing,” Midousuji said, ducking his head under the jersey. “Because you’re never going to give it up.”
