Bonus Round 5: Clue

Sometimes, all you need are a few little details to imagine something bigger. This round is inspired by a classic board game with a cast of colorful characters, but for SASO your only limits on "who", "where", and "with what" are what you can imagine (and the SASO fandom list, of course)!
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)
RULES
- Submit prompts by commenting to this post with the format of a Clue mystery - "[character] in the [location] with [item]", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
- Example: Sawamura Daichi in the teachers' lounge with the Hello Kitty! lunchbox
- The person in your prompt MAY be a member of your ship, but is not REQUIRED to be part of your ship. They must still be a named character from a SASO-nominated fandom.
- Your place must be a physical location, not a state of being or a state of being. However, this location is not required to be real, nor must it be from the same setting as the characters.
- The "item" used must be a physical object that the character can hold or manipulate.
- Unlike the board game, your prompt is NOT required to imply murder. The scenario implied can be anything at all! (As always, please tag properly!)
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your Clue-inspired fanwork.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
- Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

The dragon egg has been glowing steadily for hours now. The hens that were assigned to sit on it have been moved off and instead, the court wizard has cast a spell on the cushioned basket the egg is in to keep it warm.
All court business is conducted with half an eye on the egg and courtiers who haven’t been in the Throne Room for years are now crowded into the upper gallery.
Nobody wants to miss the sight of a dragon egg hatching.
When the first tap-tap-tap sounds, the court instantly falls silent. The petitioner that had been pleading to the Grand King gets a distracted, “Yes, yes, you are now dismissed,” and scurries off to tell his village the good news that the soldiers will help them relocate away from the floods.
The Grand King has the basket brought to the foot of the throne so that he may watch and takes his son onto his lap so he too will witness the birth of a dragon. The heir is barely a year old, a chubby little brown-haired baby whose smiles and giggles have enchanted the court, but even he seems to be aware of the magic of the moment. His big brown eyes fix on the egg with intensity rare in one so young and as the egg hatches, he makes no noise.
Slowly, the eggshell breaks away and a tiny head, no bigger than a cherry, pokes it way out. It looks just like a little lizard at first until the small, wet wings on the back unfold.
As one, the court exhales.
The dragon’s eyes open, gleaming like liquid gold, and catch the prince’s gaze. The toddler suddenly wriggles on his father’s lap as the dragon spreads out its wings and then hops-skims into the air.
There’s instant panic, the wizard throwing a fire-proofing spell over both the Grand King and his heir, the queen scrambling away, the guards readying their spears - but all the little dragon does is land on one of Oikawa’s fat thighs and make a little chirping sound. It’s as golden as unripe wheat with two black stripes racing down its sides and its underbelly is a soft pink.
Oikawa gurgles in delight and tries to pat the dragon with one chubby little hand.
Then there are two babies on the king’s lap. One is completely naked with blond hair, striped black over the sides, and speckled golden scales like freckles over his cheeks and sides.
Oikawa’s gurgling sounds even more delighted and when he throws his plump arms around the dragon-baby and hugs it, the dragon-baby chirps in return and nuzzles him.
This isn’t what the Grand King had in mind for the dragon but a dragon for a playmate and protector isn’t the worst gift to give his son.
Re: FILL: Team The Prince of Tennis, T
The hens in the second sentence made me laugh for a reason I'm still not certain about, and the panic was absolutely adorable, and tiny dragon! tiny dragon made my heart stutter, and the fire-proofing and a baby and tiny dragon in a king's lap akdsakjhd
I'm literally flailing about babies in the king's lap and this entire sentence: Oikawa’s gurgling sounds even more delighted and when he throws his plump arms around the dragon-baby and hugs it, the dragon-baby chirps in return and nuzzles him. I am struggling to not derp in this comment, and your Hinata/Asahi fill already had me grinning and now my cheeks hurt, this is so wonderful
sorry I hope that's coherent but basically I love this, thank you so much asldkjsa;lj <3
Re: FILL: Team The Prince of Tennis, T
FUN FACT! Hens are basically the egg-sitters of choice when you want to hatch eggs from any species because they're very docile and will grimly sit on the eggs they have decided are theirs NO MATTER WHAT. So while it probably took a few hens to cover the dragon egg, none of them would have been perturbed that it looked nothing like a hen egg in color, size or texture. It's their egg and they'er gonna hatch it.
I headcanon dragons as natural shapeshifters so Kyoutani shifted to match Oikawa without thinking about it. But he'll be shifting back and forth a lot. Imagine baby Oikawa with a tiny dragon draped over his neck and nuzzling him. Warm cuddly winged reptile.
That grows up huge. XD And starts picking up Oikawa by the back of his tunic whenever Oikawa's about to get into trouble/start a fight. Nope. NOPE, human. You're his. No getting yourself injured.
