Bonus Round 5: Clue

Sometimes, all you need are a few little details to imagine something bigger. This round is inspired by a classic board game with a cast of colorful characters, but for SASO your only limits on "who", "where", and "with what" are what you can imagine (and the SASO fandom list, of course)!
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)
RULES
- Submit prompts by commenting to this post with the format of a Clue mystery - "[character] in the [location] with [item]", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
- Example: Sawamura Daichi in the teachers' lounge with the Hello Kitty! lunchbox
- The person in your prompt MAY be a member of your ship, but is not REQUIRED to be part of your ship. They must still be a named character from a SASO-nominated fandom.
- Your place must be a physical location, not a state of being or a state of being. However, this location is not required to be real, nor must it be from the same setting as the characters.
- The "item" used must be a physical object that the character can hold or manipulate.
- Unlike the board game, your prompt is NOT required to imply murder. The scenario implied can be anything at all! (As always, please tag properly!)
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your Clue-inspired fanwork.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
- Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

It’s very difficult to get people to join the volleyball team.
***
“Join the volleyball club,” Kageyama ordered as he thrust flyers at any unfortunate soul who came within reach. He’d found a spot in the shade and was now waylaying passer-bys with a certain grim determination.
Was talking to strangers something he enjoyed? No. Was it a duty he would carry out because it had been given to him by the captain? Yes.
“Join the volleyball club,” he said to another person and pushed a flyer at them. This time, he remembered to add, “Please.”
Despite the flyers he’d handed out, he had very little hope for anyone actually joining. They were taking the flyers out of habit, most people stuffing the carefully folded papers into their pockets without even looking at them.
What a waste of Yachi’s hard work! She’d created a beautiful flyer for them, photos and texts perfectly balanced, and even negotiated a discount with the print shop because it was for a school. All that effort for flyers that nobody was even looking at.
“Join the volleyball club, please,” he said and smacked a flyer into someone’s hands without looking.
“Bakageyama! I’m already in the volleyball club with you!” Hinata yelled loudly. He rolled up the flyer and smacked Kageyama on the arm with it, peering up at him curiously.
“Aren’t you even looking whom you’re giving these too?!” Hinata demanded.
Kageyama thought about informing Hinata that actually, the cafeteria lunch lady he’d given a flyer to had seemed more interested than any of the actual students, and then decided against it. Hinata might actually try convincing her to enroll without thinking about the fact that their team was men’s only.
“Either help me or shut up,” he said, pushing the stack of flyers at Hinata. “You take three quarters, I’ll take the last quarter.
“Why don’t we take half each?” Hinata asked with a puzzled tilt of his head.
“Because I’ve already been giving them out for a while. If we take half each, then I’ll be doing more work than you,” Kageyama explained, conveniently ignoring the fact that since he’d been ordered to do it, he really should be doing all the work.
“...Okay!” Hinata said, grabbing the majority of the flyers. He scampered off to the other side of the gates and soon Kageyama could hear him yelling.
“HEY! HEY YOU! DO YOU LIKE WINNING? DO YOU LIKE CROWS? DO YOU LIKE JUMPING AROUND?” Hinata was gathering an interested crowd, gesturing with his stack of flyers self-importantly. “JOIN OUR VOLLEYBALL CLUB.”
And just like that, the crowd dispersed.
Re: FILL: Team The Prince of Tennis, T
I don't know what to even focus on first-- Kageyama ordering passerbys, or his grim determination, or the cafeteria ladies, and I adore that he's so indignant that no one's looking at Yachi's perfectly balanced flyers, I don't even know how to make my face stop smiling <3
Hinata was super adorable here-- both in Kageyama's judging view-- and his recruitment techniques!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Re: FILL: Team The Prince of Tennis, T
Thanks so much for prompting this! Kageyama is literally the WORST at recruitment but honestly, Hinata isn't much better. XDD And with how the volleyball team supports and loves Yachi, I'm SURE he would be offended on her behalf that people aren't appreciating the flyers!
I think the cafeteria ladies were just humoring hi/felt sorry for him. Though they might show up at the next game to cheer the Crows on.
But seriously, Kageyama handing out flyers was a hilarious mental image. Thank you so much. XD
