Bonus Round 5: Clue

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Sometimes, all you need are a few little details to imagine something bigger. This round is inspired by a classic board game with a cast of colorful characters, but for SASO your only limits on "who", "where", and "with what" are what you can imagine (and the SASO fandom list, of course)!

This round closes on 5 August @ 7PM EDT. (Countdown Timer.)

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with the format of a Clue mystery - "[character] in the [location] with [item]", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
  • Example: Sawamura Daichi in the teachers' lounge with the Hello Kitty! lunchbox
  • The person in your prompt MAY be a member of your ship, but is not REQUIRED to be part of your ship. They must still be a named character from a SASO-nominated fandom.
  • Your place must be a physical location, not a state of being or a state of being. However, this location is not required to be real, nor must it be from the same setting as the characters.
  • The "item" used must be a physical object that the character can hold or manipulate.
  • Unlike the board game, your prompt is NOT required to imply murder. The scenario implied can be anything at all! (As always, please tag properly!)
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
• Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your Clue-inspired fanwork.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Tatsuya is far too pretty for his own good. He's definitely too pretty for Atsushi's wellbeing. The basketball club has rented out a ryokan near the mountains where Araki has taken them for a special week of training. Atsushi has visited ryokan before, he's comfortable enough in his yukata―brought from home because there are few that are long enough to fit him otherwise―but he isn't prepared for this.

He has no idea how to deal with how amazing Tatsuya looks in a yukata, and it shouldn't really be this big of a deal, but Atsushi's been fighting down his crush on Tatsuya for months, now. He's gotten used to being able to ignore how beautiful Tatsuya looks in his school uniform, or his basketball jersey, or he casual clothes he wears when they go out together. This is new. This has him quietly panicking all over again because Atsushi has never been good at self control and when he sees something pretty, all he wants to do is stare for as long as he can.

"Atsushi," Tatsuya murmurs, walking over to the table where he's eating steamed buns, one after another in an attempt to keep himself busy. "You're acting strange. Do you not like it here?"

"It's fine," Atsushi replies, and shoves another steamed bun into his mouth.

"The guys were talking about going to the onsen," Tatsuya tells him. "Are you coming?"

Atsushi's mind stalls at that. He can barely deal with Tatsuya in a yukata. Tatsuya in nothing at all? He doesn't think he'll make it out alive.

"Atsushi?" Tatsuya prompts. He leans in, lowering his voice. "I haven't been to an onsen since coming here from America. I feel a little shy about it."

"You? Shy?" Atsushi blinks in surprise. "Why would you be?"

"It's just…" Tatsuya laughs quietly. "All I'll have is a towel? I'm not used to that sort of thing. It's not like the locker rooms where we're just changing and getting out of there. We'll just be… sitting there. Naked."

"I guess it might feel weird, but you don't have to worry about it," Atsushi tells him honestly. "You've seen yourself, haven't you? You're so…"

Tatsuya blinks at him when he trails off. "So… what, Atsushi?"

Atsushi grumbles, looking away and hoping that Tatsuya doesn't notice the way he's blushing. "Nothing. Never mind."

"Atsushi," Tatsuya says, sitting down on the cushion opposite him, waiting.

"You're beautiful. There. Happy?" Atsushi shoves another steamed bun into his mouth, chewing angrily.

"You think I'm beautiful?"

"I don't think it's an opinion, as much as it's a fact," Atsushi tells him, wondering if he can downplay it this way.

"But you, specifically, find me beautiful," Tatsuya says.

Atsushi is about to ask why it matters in the first place, but then he sees the way that Tatsuya is looking at him, like he doesn't want to look away, and it all makes sense.

"I do," he says at last, and gets to his feet, holding his hand out for Tatsuya. "I do. So, do you want to go to the onsen? You can hide behind me if you're that shy. I'm pretty big."

"Yeah," Tatsuya agrees, licking his lips as he takes Atsushi's hand. "You really are."
