Bonus Round 6: Remixes

The goal is in sight, participants! Let's finish strong by drawing upon the thousands of fanworks you've created this summer and putting them in new lights.
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.
RULES
- Choose a fanwork created by other participants in a previous main or bonus round of SASO 2017 and create a new piece based on it. You could create a fanart of another work, an FST inspired by a piece’s style, a podfic of someone else's work, retell another person’s fanfic from another point of view, create a new fanfic inspired by a great piece of art... go wild! Sequels do count as remixes, with limits: "And then the same thing happened again" is not ok, but "And then some totally new thing happened" is fine, and please don't create only sequels.
- You cannot remix your teammates' works. You cannot remix your own works. You can remix fills that were created to your own prompts.
- You can remix a remix, but if we see any remix chains we'll be upset, so do this with moderation and restraint.
- You must have permission from the original creator. There's a blanket permissions post here (feel free to add yourself to it!), or you can leave a comment on their original post asking for permission.
- You must include the dreamwidth link to the original work in your post.
- Since all fills are based on previous works, there will be no prompts for this round. Simply post your fill as a comment in response to this post.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Posts not using this format will be understood to be unofficial discussion posts, regardless of what they contain. They, like all comments in this community, are subject to the code of conduct.
If you see anyone breaking the code of conduct (e.g., causing drama, being rude) anywhere (not just DW), please contact the mods immediately.

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want! For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)
For fills:First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each

Fills 21-50: 2 points each

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post).Have a question? Check The FAQ first. If you still need help, feel free to contact the mods. Happy fanworking!

koga is a lesbian.
thats it.
***
Koga only liked bikes. The few times classmates bothered to discuss romance (sometimes for consumption, sometimes their starting attempts at their own) with her she’d consistently offer an apologetic smile and explain that she truly, honestly was only interested in bikes.
Koga thought she only liked bikes until she liked one girl. She considers it as a turning point for her character, a personal highlight, a plot-twist that she was embracing far too readily before even giving herself the chance to step back and wonder, ‘wait, really?’.
(Listen, in her defense it was a very good girl––)
She fell like a fool, really, guards knocked down and rose tinted lenses and all. They say love knocks at some people’s doors, don’t they? In her case it was more like she was tackled while standing behind a door. It’s an embarrassing thing to admit even to herself, let alone out-loud, so she never has.
(Not that she thinks it mattered in the long run, but that’s another issue all-together.)
When that girl left, Koga could finally catch breath. Feelings and the terms they left with each other aside, and as dumb it was to think of it that way, she was free –– Of her eyes always falling effortlessly on her, of being so good at picking her voice no matter the distance that she always heard her more clearly than whoever she was talking to at the moment, of getting behind on helping with the bikes because she knew she spent more time on hers and still couldn't help herself, of feeling like she could recall her figure with way more ease than she could recall her own thoughts.
(She was free of a few other things too. A few emotions, a couple of incidents ignored and unaddressed, of her presence keeping her from disagreeing with one of her decisions, things like that.)
She thought that because, messiness aside, she couldn't help it that she was attracted and she found that distracting and maybe, just maybe, she could finally go back to not playing favorites with bikes and knocking things off because she apparently was terrible at multitasking things like living her life while being sapphic.
She thought she could finally catch a breath, until a series of events (so many –– she's compartmentalizing, let her be) landed her in the bath with Unexpected Companions and now that she's no longer suffering of tunnel vision she can't help but be keenly aware of one thing.
At some point between their second and third year, puberty hit Aoyagi and Teshima like a train.
And while she doesn't want to risk making things awkward by staring, the idea of stealing a look is becoming more tempting by the second and shouldn't it be fine? It's a bath after all, it's not like there's much else to look anyway–– No, that's no true, anyone'd feel self-conscious if she did something like that. She knows that and that's why she's feeling self-conscious herself, isn't it? They aren't looking at her but it feels like they are, and it's all thanks to guilt. It's not like they can know what she's mulling over.
Maybe she should just take off her glasses–-
"Hey ~", drawls Teshima, suddenly and lazily as Koga stops holding her chest to push her glasses over her head. "When did you develop? I don't remember you being so big during our first year."
Koga freezes. Her expression doesn't give away much, but she definitely stoped half-way through, glasses barely reaching her hairline.
"Junta", reprimands Aoyagi. Barely. She can't see a thing but now she's fairly sure there's a pair of eyes on her.
"What are you talking about? I've always been the tallest." The reply comes out way breezier than she feels. She picks up where she left too, almost casually, and as her arms fall she lets them go back to hugging herself.
Teshima snorts.
"You know that's not what I'm talking about. I mean, look at you. Why are you hiding them like that?"
"I'm not––"
"Hey, are hers bigger than yours, Aoyagi?"
Aoyagi visibly turns her head towards her, then down. Koga seriously considers lowering her glasses and staring back, just to feel that she has some kind of control over this situation.
(But then, Aoyagi was the type that trained your eyes on you with focused silence. Koga knew how to deal with Teshima's incessant blabbering. Not knowing what Aoyagi was thinking on the other hand...)
"I'm not sure", comes her verdict after a couple of seconds. "When she's holding them like that... Might be about the same."
"Huh." The water moves as the blurr that's Teshima leans back. She still feels her eyes on her chest though. Koga considers seriously what she should do with arms that feel locked around her. "It wasn't like that back then. Wasn't I more developed?"
"Does it bother you, Junta?" It's more a jab than an observation, honestly.
She squints at the other when she laughs but it's no use, she can't make out her expression.
"Not really ~ Just a random thought, that's all. Kind of made me want to check."
Check...?
"Kimitaka." Aoyagi's hand touches her arm. She startles. "You're really red."
"Eh...? Ah––"
"Pfft–– What, is the heat getting to you?" Teshima laughs again, like she made a joke and it's somehow amusing. "Didn't take you for that type."
"Maybe... a little." She grabs for her towel and stands up, not about to miss this chance. "I'll just go cool off and turn in for the day."
She's basically already too gone by the time they say something back. It's a slow, measured escape, but a escape nonetheless. When she looks at her face in the mirror, right after she's entered the dressing room, she's greeted with her reflection still burning crimson.
She rests her forehead against the cold surface, groaning.
The struggle is not yet over.
