Bonus Round 7: Free For All

Let's finish SASO 2017 with a bang. This bonus bonus round allows any kind of prompt imaginable in any format. The sky's the limit!
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.
RULES
- Submit prompts by commenting to this post with literally any kind of prompt, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms, with the following caveats:
- Large image prompts should be thumbnailed and linked to, as explained here.
- Fanart/fanfiction/fanwork prompts are only allowed if you created the fanwork yourself or if you have explicit permission to use it, and proof of permission must be linked to in your prompt header.
- Quote prompts can come from almost anything, but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
- Reposting prompts is fine, but be respectful and keep crediting in mind. A prompt belongs to the person who posted it to this round, and who can fill it is determined by whether or not they are on that person's team.
- If reposting a br2 (tic tac toe) prompt, please post each prompt square as its own individual comment. Posting tic tac toe boards wholesale will crash our br scorer and the bonus doesn't apply for this round, anyway.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Akira & Hikaru). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Akira/Hikaru). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Besides that, if you want to prompt something, regardless of format—even formats not previously allowed in SASO—go right ahead. If you're unsure you can ask us for clarification, but tbh just go for the gold.
- Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with a fanwork.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
- Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

Oikawa knows the jig is up when he hears the rustling of the shower curtain.
It’s soft. Barely a whisper, barely louder than the breath from his own lips, but in the carpeted hush of the hotel room, everything echoes like a death knell. Careless. Careless.
He weighs up his options, makes a split-second decision; when Ushijima Wakatoshi emerges from the bathroom a moment later, smelling of baby shampoo and that cologne he’s always used, Oikawa’s lounging back on his bed with his jacket unbuttoned, falling open over one shoulder. He greets him with his most devastating smirk.
“Ushiwaka-chan, the quality of pillows in this establishment leaves much to be desired.”
Ushijima doesn’t look in the least ruffled to see Oikawa there, which pisses Oikawa off just a bit.
“Oikawa. Might I ask you, at least, the courtesy of removing your socks?”
Oikawa scowls. He makes a big show of wiggling his toes. “They’re very stylish Tikachu socks.”
“They certainly are,” Ushijima agrees, with a solemn nod.
Oikawa sniffs and removes his socks, tossing them one by one across the room. They land in a balled up heap near the coffee table. Ushijima remains standing, silent, a towel round his shoulders.
“I assume you are here to dispatch me,” he says. His gaze never wavers. Oikawa feels it burning into him, pinning him down to the bed where he lies, and it’s only the ice-cool glass of the vial in his hand that keeps the smile on his face.
“It’s always business with you, isn’t it, Ushiwaka-chan?” says Oikawa, the corner of his lip curling.
Ushijima tilts his head. “What else is there?”
“Oh, I don’t know. Just thought you might have some feelings about me taking this assignment. Ironic, isn’t it?”
“Not at all. It makes perfect sense to send you. An analysis of my weaknesses would show—”
“Your weaknesses?” Oikawa laughs, leaning forward. His fist is clenched so tight it hurts. “Me? Are you joking?”
Ushijima finishes drying off his hair and sets the towel down neatly over a chair. When he turns to face Oikawa again, he takes a step to close the distance between them, a careful, measured pace; Oikawa can’t help noticing he still keeps him at arm’s length, and it’s another pang twisting in his gut.
“I do not joke,” says Ushijima, and Oikawa laughs again, for he of all people should have known that.
He sighs, slides over to the edge of the bed and crosses his legs. In his lap, his palm’s still balled up. He unfurls it slowly, deliberately, looks down at the swift release that swirls within.
“Well, it looks like I’ve botched the job,” he says lightly. “And I have certain… instructions. I’m delighted we got to meet one last time, at least—the conversation’s been scintillating—”
He doesn’t even see it coming, and that’s why, that’s why, he’s always failed with Ushijima; he doesn’t see Ushijima move to knock his palm away and send the vial softly to the floor, doesn’t see him drop to his knees in front of him and trap his arm in a grip he cannot break, knuckles pressing old imprints where Oikawa still wears their memory. He doesn’t see any of it coming at all. Ushijima’s always been fast, for his size, and armed with unerring game sense.
“What’s this?” Oikawa breathes. “Getting in my way again?”
“I do not wish to see you take your life,” says Ushijima, and in this moment, his voice is a raw thing, its own kind of poison, ringing clear and true. “I should be sorry, to see you die.”
As Ushijima’s hand circles round his wrist, unexpectedly tender, it occurs to Oikawa that he had wanted to be caught, all along. How silly, that he did not see it before. It is so obvious to him now, in the light of Ushijima’s honesty, stripped bare. It would have been tragically romantic, to go like this.
But he is once again thwarted, and it is always Ushijima who leaves him with nothing else to say.

Perhaps it would be more fitting, were the room pitch-black when he enters it. If he were reliant on shadows to hide his face, if he cared at all about the sound his footfalls make on the floor, if he had mapped out an escape route instead of waltzing in without much forethought, he would deserve the title he'd been so ceremoniously awarded at headquarters. He'd been something, before all this started. He'd been the best, though it is hard to make that case now, given where he is standing, and who it is that sits before him.
Someone who should not be sitting or breathing or living at all, had Ushijima done his job when he should have.
That first night, on the rooftop, with the sights of his rifle set on a head of wavy brown hair, the figure slightly blurred from his animated hands. Ushijima had the perfect shot; his finger was on the trigger, ready to be pulled.
But then two brown eyes seemed to meet his own through the window, through the distance, through the night, smiling as if he knew that Ushijima was out there, somewhere, in possession of a bullet with his name on it. Ushijima had never felt so unnerved.
On any other day, that would not have been enough to dissuade him. His mistake, it occurs to him now, was waiting too long to kill him. By then, the moment had passed, and the man he will later come to know as Oikawa had already ensnared him the way a rose would, vines binding his wrists and ankles, thorns determined to meet bone.
He is closer to Oikawa, when the second attempt rolls around. Less finesse is involved, more luck. A switchblade in a vital organ from an assassin in the crowd. But when they bump into each other, he doesn't pull Oikawa to himself and twist the knife in his gut, doesn't leave Oikawa to bleed out on the ground. Instead, he catches Oikawa in his arms before he can fall, and he's treated to Oikawa's familiar smile, now inches from his own face. Oikawa asks for his hero's name along with his number and Ushijima gives both, unwittingly.
"I'll see you around, Ushiwaka-chan," says Oikawa, patting Ushijima's cheek before he straightens up and walks in the opposite direction. The third attempt is much easier to come after that.
Ushijima had been prepared, the rope coiled under his pillows after Oikawa had invited himself over. It would have adorned Oikawa's throat so prettily, and would've left prettier bruises when he was done. Instead, he lets Oikawa talk him into a kiss, into binding Ushijima's own hands to the bedposts, into groaning Oikawa's name as he's coaxed into climax. Oikawa cuts him loose when they're done, despite the glimmer in his eyes that tells Ushijima Oikawa knows he'll soon be back for more.
So here he is, deep within enemy territory, opposite a man who is better off dead; a man who never loses his smile even when Ushijima produces the vial of clear liquid and holds it up to the light.
"Is this the death that befits me, Ushiwaka-chan?" says Oikawa, taking the glass on the bedside table and tilting it in Ushijima's direction, inviting him to pour. "I'm almost offended."
"I made up my mind long ago." Ushijima pries the glass from Oikawa's fingers gently, replacing it with the vial, pressed gently to the center of his palm. He sits on the edge of the mattress, watching Oikawa glance down at the vial with wide eyes, his thorns at bay for what seems the first time. When he looks up at Ushijima again, his expression is difficult to pin down.
Ushijima half-expects Oikawa to drink the vial's contents anyway, and perhaps pull him in for a kiss, just to surprise him. But Oikawa's does neither of those things.
He says, "I didn't peg you for a traitor."
Ushijima, feeling poisoned himself, says, "neither did I."
