Bonus Round 1: Quotes

SASO 2015 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

PLAY BALL! For this round, we'd like you to take inspiration from songs, sayings, poems, and other kinds of famous words.

Because this is our first full round, please read this post carefully before proceeding!

This round ends at 7PM on June 13 EDT. Countdown Timer.

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
  • Example: "Hi-ho, Kermit the Frog here!" -Kermit the Frog
  • The quote can come from anywhere. Famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, your neighbor, etc.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Yachi & Kiyoko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Yachi/Kiyoko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
• Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your quote-inspired fanwork.
• Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
• You cannot fill your team's prompts or your own prompts.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

There's a particular skip of Suga's heart as he watches the university team brush past him to the locker room. They're all sweaty, and tired--the game had been long, and ended with a loss.... They deserved the reprieve. But they're not the ones who make his heart stutter. At least, most of them. There's one - one of the taller ones on the team - that does this, and he knows it's not on purpose.

Suga's eyes catch Oikawa's, and Oikawa's eyes widen for just a moment before his gaze softens to something a little more akin to that calm, confident demeanor from high school. The same look that had begun to weave its way under Suga's skin those several years ago.

"Well, well, well! If it isn't Mr. Refreshing himself. Come to comfort the team?"

"Why? You played well."

Oikawa waves his hand blithely, the other propped on his hip as he stands there in the corridor. "Thanks, but that's not exactly something I want to hear right now."

Even with that arrogant dismissal Oikawa is trying to put on, Suga still has to be careful not to let his breath catch. He'd always thought Oikawa attractive, then and even more so now, but not having seen him up close like this since ... who knows when, the abstinence starts to take its toll.

"Ahh, speechless before me! It's understandable, I guess. Still be here in 30?"

Suga nods, knowing it's probably not the best decision he could make.

"Took you long enough!" Suga chides as the door to the locker room finally opens for its last remaining occupant. "I've been waiting for almost 40 minutes."

Oikawa sticks his tongue out.

Some things never change.

"I had to make sure I was nice and squeaky clean, and that my hair was presentable!" Oikawa is pouting as he adjusts his bag over his shoulder.

Suga rolls his eyes, but he grins. "Whatever, I guess.... Anyway, it's been a whi--"

What finishes his sentence is not more words, but Oikawa's lips on his. Oikawa's hand holds his chin with a delicacy Suga had long forgotten, and it immediately lures him to relax in Oikawa's hold (just like before). His own hands find gentle rest on Oikawa's arms, and he's ready to return Oikawa's kiss with one of his own, but Oikawa steps back, leaving Suga catching his breath instead.

(It was only a gentle kiss, nothing about it seemed otherwise--)

(But it did recall a more ferocious, passionate time--)

Oikawa grins, and Suga brings his hands back to his sides, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Sorry, sorry," Oikawa says.

Suga's eyes narrow, not entirely sure if he believes the apology, and he goes to open his mouth and respond, but,

"You're just as beautiful as I remember."

Suga sighs, instead. "My looks shouldn't be what you remember--let alone be what makes you want to kiss me." Even if it's the same for Suga.

"Oh believe me," Oikawa begins. "It's not just that."

The confidence returns to Oikawa's gaze, and Suga loses his breath again just before Oikawa kisses him more forcefully this time.

(Oikawa's fingers move roughly down to his hips--)

(His breath sets fire to Suga's throat--)

Suga's heart beats hard as he recalls these years-old memories, and kisses Oikawa back with as much tenacity. Heat starts to bloom through his body, and down his arms and legs, but Oikawa's now-familiar fingers scorch any skin on Suga's body they find, making Suga press as close as he can to Oikawa for however much he can get.

When Oikawa licks at Suga's bottom lip, Suga opens his mouth readily, wanting more of Oikawa, all of him. He can't remember anymore just how addictive Oikawa's kisses were before, because now they're just deadly intoxicating, and if Suga gives in much longer, he knows there will be no turning back. His will was never strong once he and Oikawa got going. Oikawa knew Suga's body inside-out, and Suga's afraid that this probably hasn't changed. He doesn't stand a chance.

His breath shudders and halts as Oikawa's tongue almost expertly glides along his, coaxing Suga to give him more. Finally a small moan stumbles from him, and Oikawa pulls away with another grin. His voice deeper, a little huskier, he whispers, "Why don't we get somewhere a little less public...."

Suga nods, and finds his balance just as Oikawa's hand is at the small of his back, pushing him along. Oikawa's fingers massage gently, sending more small sparks throughout Suga's body as promise for larger ones later.

"It is nice to see you again, though," Oikawa continues. "I can't wait to catch up."

I just want you to know that since last night I have quietly shoved this at everyone I know who might be interested, I am still so. Content with this fill, what a nice gift to me.

Rei knees connected with the back of his mattress and he knew it wouldn’t be long before he lost his balance. He locked his arms around Rin, pulling the other boy with him as he began to fall backwards onto the bed.

When his back finally hit the mattress, Rei noticed Rin didn’t even seemed faze by the sudden movement. All Rin did was smirk and go back to kissing him.

They kept kissing until Rin’s took nicked his lip. Rei gasped and Rin broke the kiss.

“Sorry,” Rin apologized, looking more than a little embarrassed.

“I don’t mind it, Rin-san. It just feels better when it’s purposeful rather than accidental.”

Rin lifted a brow and then smiled. “Do you mean like this, Rei?”

He intended to ask what Rin meant but then Rin broke the kiss so he could bite down onto his neck.

Instead of a gasp of pain it was one of pleasure. Rei loved it when Rin bit him even if he wasn’t always able to verbalize it. The problem was when he left marks that would be visible to the rest of the team.

“Rin-san, you’re going to leave a mark if you keep up at that spot,” Rei said. His breath hitched when Rin soothed the bite with his tongue, which left the annoyance temporarily forgotten.

“That’s the point, Rei.”

The person Rei was most nervous about seeing the marks was Nagisa. If Nagisa was known for one thing (other than having a very big heart) it was not being very subtle.

Rei sighed. “It still is troublesome, Rin-san.”

“Worried about Nagisa?” Rin asked as he started on a new spot. He didn’t have to look in a mirror to know that RIn left a mark on him.

“Nagisa-kun is quick to point out things,” Rei muttered, letting out a moan this time (rather than a gasp) when Rin bit him.

Rin smirked. “if it makes you feel any better you can mark me too, Rei.”

His eyes widened with interest. “Really, Rin-san?”

“Yeah, but right now I want to finish what I started.”

Before Rei could give any input, Rin left a series of marks starting from his neck all the way to his inner thighs but he didn’t realize how much Rin had marked him until the next day at practice. By that time, Rei had no choice but to go to practice with the marks completely visible.

Next time, Rin would be the one who was marked.
