Let's start our summer by looking at the past—things that happened in canon, or maybe in an AU, or maybe just as wishful thinking...

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on June 9 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)

RULES

Submit prompts by commenting to this post! You prompt should consist of one scenario beginning with the phrase "Remember when", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from our list of nominated fandoms.
- Your prompts can take the form of recalling canon facts/events ("Remember when Nozomi and Eli got parfaits after school?"), non-canon events ("Remember when Megumi and Jin met at the Tadokoro Family Reunion?"), or somewhere in-between ("Remember when Bokuto and Kenma first met?"). Headcanons and AUs are welcome!
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Rei & Nagisa). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Rei/Nagisa). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!

She lingers at the doorstep of Chihaya's family home, her footsteps slow and unsure, the entire place unfamiliar to her not only because she's never been here before, but because it's so different to any kind of home that she knows.

Chihaya's home is small, but that isn't a bad thing. Every single space is used for something, and Shinobu stands by the door, taking it all in.

"Shinobu-chan," Chihaya speaks up, looking at her with a smile. "Come on. This way."

Sliding her feet into the pair of guest slippers, Shinobu walks inside. It's warm inside, and the air smells like the curry that Chihaya's mother is making in the kitchen. Shinobu inclines her head in greeting on her way past. Chihaya's mother smiles and welcomes her.

"My room is over here," Chihaya says, her hand resting on the door handle. "It's where I keep my collection."

Shinobu nods eagerly. She's been looking forward to this. As curious as she is about Chihaya's home and her family, she's here for one main reason: Chihaya's Daddy Bear collection.

She holds her breath as Chihaya turns the handle, pushing the door open.

Her eyes go wide. Chihaya's room is―

It's absolutely amazing.

It's everything that she didn't dare to hope it would be. There are Daddy Bear sheets on her bed. There are Daddy Bear posters on the wall. There's a giant Daddy Bear plush sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall, and an even smaller one on its lap.

"Is that―?" Shinobu's eyes go wide. She walks over to Chihaya's bed. "This is a limited edition Mommy Bear hot water bottle cover."

"Yep," Chihaya says proudly. "I had to borrow money from my sister so I could enter the lottery so many times, but it was all worth it in the end."

"Wow," Shinobu breathes, her cheeks feeling warm. "You work so hard."

Chihaya beams, looking incredibly pleased with herself. "You know. If you want, I can make us both some tea. In my special Daddy And Mommy Bear tea set. It comes with two matching cups."

"Yes," Shinobu nods eagerly. "Let's do that."

"And maybe," Chihaya says, when she's in the kitchen, putting tea leaves into her teapot, "one day, I can come over and see your Snowmaru collection too."

Shinobu has never invited anyone over to her place and that might be because she's never really had anyone to invite in the first place, but she's never once thought about asking her mother and grandmother to let her entertain a guest.

This time, however, she doesn't even hesitate. "Absolutely. You need to come over and see."
