Why is this work awesome?: This is sad and soft and sweet and painful, the way you'd expect with the subject matter. My favourite thing is Oikawa's resilience, because it's a part of his personality that I love so much, and Serena's portrayed it so well here. He doesn't let this break him, and faces it with such maturity, and I love that. I love Iwaizumi being supportive, I love the thought of him folding cranes for Oikawa, I love him apologising that he didn't finish them in time, I love him just knowing when he has to be there for Oikawa. Even though this fill focuses on Oikawa, Iwaizumi is still an important presence there, just as he is to Oikawa, and Serena's put everything together so well.

Why is this work awesome?: Serena is incredibly talented when it comes to descriptions, and I think this fill is a good example of that. She uses her words so well to build this image of a dreamland that is both surreal and evocative, and I feel that it really helps you relate to Iwaizumi as you read. Oikawa is so wonderfully playful here, and I like the thought of Iwaizumi leaving him ruffled for a change.

Why is this work awesome?: I love when immortality is portrayed this way, the ennui, the difficulty with remembering things because it's been so long, the way he just leaves immediately, looking so jaded. Iwaizumi's reaction is really well written as well; even in this au, he's so good at handling Oikawa, and Serena's translated that really well to fit the premise.
