You've created so much during this event, so here's a round to celebrate each other's achievements!

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on August 24 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES

Recommend at least three fanworks from main or bonus rounds. Your recommendations don’t have to be connected in any way, and you do not need permission to recommend a work.
Don't rec your own work. You can recommend things created by your own team, but please spread the love to other teams too.
Each recommendation must include at least two sentences explaining why that fanwork is awesome. Please use the format specified below.
You may recommend as many works as you like, as long as they are posted separately in groups of at least three.
There will be no prompts for this round. Simply post each fill/recommendation list as a comment in response to this post.

Why is this work awesome?: I love this fic best for Miranda's characterization of Shinobu. Her voice is sedate and removed but still with this expectation, this awareness of Chihaya that speaks of both great respect and great fondness. There are a lot of really great details — Chihaya's perfume that is supposed to be roses when she smells of strawberries, the excitement under Shinobu's skin fizzing like soda pop, the itch she feels that's in her chest and spreads into her lungs — and they work together to create this very specific, summery mood and I love how that all comes together.

Why is this work awesome?: The Queen match is such an important thing to Chihaya, and I love the way this fic frames Shinobu as acknowledging Chihaya's worth when it comes to facing her in a fight for the title of Queen. I love seeing all of Chihaya's friends wanting to support her, and I love that the gift from Shinobu is chocolate, because it's just the thing to get Chihaya focused on the win.

Why is this work awesome?: I adore this fic for its really creative setup and its unique take on using an outsider perspective. It's Chihaya and Shinobu both coming to a shrine to pay respects, while Emperor Tenji and Takamatsu-no-miya sit in the seat of the Gods weighing the people who come to offer prayers. I love the language Psiten uses with these characters out of history, and I love the tone of the piece that comes about as a result, very stately and deliberate, like a royal procession.
