Bonus Round 3: FSTs

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

I really want cake right now. Warnings for attempted murder, Stepford Smiler and really unhealthy relationships.
***
Ultimately, the choice had come down to two options: Battenburg cake or marbled cake. The advantage of Battenburg cake was that it looked very attractive, the grid-like slices of cake creating the impression of a lot of work having been necessary. Marbled cake, on the other hand, was far easier and would leave things more to chance.
Oikawa studied the bowl of cake batter pensively. The standard cake batter recipe he used came out a pale yellow rather than white so he’d experimented with using shortening instead of butter as suggested by the Internet. The batter did look far paler than usual but would the shortening affect the batter’s ability to absorb food coloring?
Well. If he messed up, he could always try again. He’d purchased extra sugar and eggs just for this.
He divided the cake batter into three bowls, then used a toothpick to scoop out some forest green food coloring and add it to one bowl. The other bowl received a small dose of rose red which Oikawa briskly stirred into the batter with a spoon. The color was too close to pink so he added just a dab of burgundy red and stirred again. There. Perfect.
The next step was to stir the three bowls together. He had to be careful not to overmix, else the green and red would be faded by the white or mix together in a brown. He just had to mix enough that the colors overlapped each other…
Carefully, with all the concentration of a heart surgeon, Oikawa mixed the batter together.
He poured the finished results into the cake pan, smoothed it out ceremoniously and then popped it into the oven to bake.
While it baked, he could practice his icing skills. This was a birthday cake, after all. It had to be just perfect for his fussy, perfectionist, never-satisfied boyfriend.
Oh. He’d accidentally squeezed the icing tube too tightly and sent icing squirting all over the practice pan.
How did that happen?
Oikawa cleaned it up and then humming to himself peacefully, returned to practicing his writing. When that was done, he formed row after row of roses, each identically sized to its neighbor. Using fondant or sugared flowers would have saved him a lot of time but in his own, Oikawa was just as much a perfectionist as his boyfriend.
The cake took 30 minutes to cook and then 2 hours to cool sufficiently that Oikawa could ice it. He covered the sides in roses, creating colored swirls of red, green and white that continued over the top. In black, he wrote ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ and then iced around the letters so the volleyball-esque impression wouldn’t be deserved.
Oikawa studied it with a critical eye and finally nodded to himself.
It was an absolute masterpiece, which was just as it should be.
The best way to kill someone was with love.

Ushijima looks like a volcano when he's angry, his face red and the rest of him seemingly bursting at the seams, steamed and ready to explode. He has no control over his features, so Oikawa doesn't think that Ushijima intends for the sight to discourage further provocation. Which is good, really, because it has the opposite effect. Oikawa, unable to help the urge to probe and prod at all that pent-up rage, does as dictated by his worst instincts, smirking in the face of Ushijima's disbelieving eyes, his affronted frowns, as if he's trying to reconcile his delusion of never being wrong with actual reality. Oikawa hates it when Ushijima gets like that, hates being reminded of the self-righteousness that had made him want to do Ushijima's face in from middle school to high school, hates that this side of Ushijima seems to come out most when it concerned him.
Ushijima looks like a volcano when he's angry but he doesn't look like it now, his shoulders slouched and his gaze helpless and lost, like someone whose home and belongings have just been ransacked by a hurricane. Oikawa's often been likened to a natural disaster, but this is just ridiculous.
He would have said so too, on any other day, except that Ushijima seems like he'd collapse with another careless word from Oikawa's mouth. Just one more push, one more incisive truth, and Oikawa would win the argument—but he knows, too, that they would both lose the war.
Still, it's tempting. Still, there's always going to be a part of him that craves victory in any form, no matter what the cost. Still, Ushijima's defeat at his hands would seem like vindication, even after all this time.
Ushijima's eyes leave his to acquaint themselves with his shoes, and he surrenders to pulling a chair out from under the table to take a seat, as if he's too weak to hold himself up any longer.
How dramatic, Ushiwaka-chan, Oikawa wants to say, but it won't come out. He hates this too, this dead-eyed stare, this resignation from someone so staunch and resolute in everything he does. If Ushijima had reached for him instead, had tried to chase the viciousness from his mouth, it would have been easier to push him away, saying, don't you dare kiss me, and leave the apartment first without looking back.
As things stand, he can't do that, not if he wants to have something to come back to.
"I can't stand you," says Oikawa, softer than he means, and Ushijima looks up, parts his lips as if to impart the same sentiment, but closes them again, like he'd rather weather another hurricane than say anything cruel to Oikawa.
And that, Oikawa thinks, swallowing around the lump in his throat, is what he might hate the most.

I couldn't find the death in the lyrics, just a whole lot of death threats, and I don't know if I'm just stupid. I've written like two other OiKages here that were both somewhat related and it was before breakup and very very after breakup. So I was basically inspired from all that.

Oikawa laid awake in his bed for the umpteenth time. It had been three months since his relationship had ended it with Kageyama. Yet, everything still hurt as if it was a fresh wound. All his friends asked what happened to his little ‘Tobio-chan.’ They eventually got a clue after Iwaizumi gave them the stink eye. Ever since the breakup, Oikawa was forced to wear sunglasses. His eyes were perpetually red whether from lack of sleep, crying, or just both. His hair that he always painstakingly made fashionably messy was disheveled more so than usual. To put it frankly, he looked, and was a mess. He couldn’t get over the last interaction he had with Kageyama. He couldn’t get over the fact that he could no longer wake up to his baby face. He couldn’t get over sleeping alone, and without the warmth of the other. Tears started streaking down his face as he started cursing ever meeting him, ever interacting with him, ever loving him. He started conjuring up all the dramatical ways Kageyama could be wiped off the face of the earth. Whether it be throwing him in the lake with his feet weighted, maybe dropping by his home and feed him poisoned food, or maybe better yet, bury him alive. He grimaced from the morbid thoughts. Still, even if it was all said and done, he couldn’t do any one of those actions. Hell, he was still mourning from slapping that son of a bitch. His heart felt like it had turned into stone after their mutual breakup. All he could really feel was deep impending sadness, and anger. “Stupid fucking Tobio-chan. If I knew this would’ve happened then I wish I never fucking met you. You jerk. Asshole. Bastard. Lame ass. You wasted all your damn love on me.” Another wave of tears trailed down his face as his pillow became perpetually wet from all the nightly crying. Although Oikawa had had dealt with his fair share of breakups. This one truly hurt him the most. He really did genuinely like Kageyama, yet they fell apart. He continued naming all the obscene insults he could about Kageyama. He hated him. He despised him. For all he cared, Kageyama could jump into a vat of acid and Oikawa would not shed a single tear about it. Nuh uh, no sirree. Yet, here he was, shedding petty tears about Kageyama. Listing all the horrible ways he could die, naming all the explicit insults he knew, and crying his eyes to death about it. Then suddenly, quietly, and so barely audible. He heard something said aloud, muttered from his own cracked lips. Something that took him by surprised, not even just the fact that he spoke. “I hope you die…” Yet again, came another set of tears overwhelming his eyes, he shoved his face into his pillow. He didn’t want this.

I hc Oikawa as asexual here, he doesn't do too well with lip to lip or French kissing but other places are fine to his personal extents! Hope you like this!!

The first time Ushijima kisses him, Oikawa is seized with the vague sense of wanting to immediately wash his mouth out.
As if sensing his discomfort, Ushijima pulls back, brows furrowed in concern. He strokes a thumb along the slope of Oikawa's jaw and gives him space to breathe freely, trying to help him relax. "What's wrong?"
He brings a hand up to scrub furiously at his lips. Somehow, they feel dirty and he feels guilty about it. There was nothing wrong with the way Ushijima had kissed him, after all. It's just him and this weird apprehension towards the contact happening again suddenly making itself known. He shrugs, confused. "I don't quite get it."
"Was I being too forceful?"
Hardly, Ushijima had been as gentle as he could after Oikawa gave him the green light. "No, it wasn't your fault. It's just," Oikawa wavers, wonders if being upfront about his feelings might deter Ushijima from going deeper with their relationship.
Patiently, Ushijima nudges his chin with the back of his hand, soft as silk passing on skin. He encourages, "Just?"
Oikawa swallows, decides to relent. "It's just it didn't feel good. I mean, I didn't feel good. I don't know how to explain it but I don't think I wanna try kissing on the lips again anytime soon." A pause. "Sorry, Ushiwaka-chan."
Ushijima doesn't say anything to that, only nods his head, conveying his quiet agreement. He's frowning, but Oikawa can tell it's more from thought rather than dissatisfaction, and that brings him a sense of relief he never predicted to need in this kind of situation. He's incredibly grateful then, for having Ushijima as his boyfriend.
(Anybody else might have already flipped him the bird and upped and left.)
"Are you okay with talking a bit more about this?" Finally, Ushijima says something. He seems to be choosing his next words carefully. "I just want to make sure what's alright and what's not, but if you need a break from it, that's fine. We can discuss this on another day."
Oikawa internally searches himself, finds himself okay with Ushijima's intention, and nods, trying to locate a train of thoughts to begin. Raising his signature perfect hand sign, he says, "Being kissed on the forehead and cheeks are okay."
Ushijima promptly does those actions, making Oikawa chuckle as Ushijima's breath slips over his eyelashes.
"Thanks for the reassurance, Ushiwaka-chan!"
His boyfriend huffs. It's probably his version of a laugh. "You're welcome. Anywhere else?"
"Well, my neck seems alright too~" And Oikawa bursts into full blown giggles when Ushijima ducks down to kiss him there.
He's never felt happier, now that he knows they'll find their way at their own pace.
