Why is this work awesome?: I really love how this story not only gets into the messed up history of Natsuo and Sanae, but gets into the messed up history of Natsuo and her brother. That last line, oof. It's a nasty story full of bitterness (meant, of course, in the best way), but these girls are tangled up in each other whether they like it or not. And Natsuo is sure that there’s a bit of her in Sanae, a bit of Natsuo that Sanae keeps alive inside her is such a great line. This fic is very atmospheric and intense, and works so, so well for the prompt.

I love the reverse chronological order, the steps back down to how things are now, and I love this take on heartlessness, how it's a feeling of absence. This story hit me like a hammer when I first read it, and I still fumble my words talking about it now. It's stunning.

I love the way Midousuij was written, from him being alone to then him meeting Onoda as his Sacrifice. Onoda was really well-written too, and it's the kind of fill that I could honestly read several more thousand words of, just because the world and the tone that has been set up for it is just so lovely.

Why is this work awesome?: This is an adorable mashup of Hogwarts and Haikyuu, and both of these two are really great cosplayers. Chiharu's Yachi is really dead-on, and Dynamite's Yamaguchi has the CUTEST freckles and expression. I love the little text they put on too!

Why is this work awesome?: This is such a favorite headcanon of mine, that Bokuto and Oikawa will both get picked for Toudai for university. I love how these two are just getting to know each other here, how Oikawa doesn't understand that Bokuto will do anything he asks. I feel like these two would be a really solid pair if they didn't work themselves to death first, and this fic is all about that.
