Bonus Round 1: Quotes

Bonus Round 1: Quotes

SASO 2015 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

PLAY BALL! For this round, we'd like you to take inspiration from songs, sayings, poems, and other kinds of famous words.

Because this is our first full round, please read this post carefully before proceeding!

This round ends at 7PM on June 13 EDT. Countdown Timer.

RULES
  • Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
    • Example: "Hi-ho, Kermit the Frog here!" -Kermit the Frog
    • The quote can come from anywhere. Famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, your neighbor, etc.
    • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Yachi & Kiyoko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Yachi/Kiyoko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
  • Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your quote-inspired fanwork.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
  • You cannot fill your team's prompts or your own prompts.

When was it that Haru knew?

When was the presence of the other a weight that couldn’t be done without, that kept the heart tethered in the chest, kept breath in the lungs, blood rushing through the veins?

When did Makoto become his life?

Green eyes flicker under closed eyelids as he sleeps next to Haru.

Through the open window of their first shared apartment in Tokyo, the moon shines down on the sleeping boy’s face, barely lighting it up. The moon in Tokyo is so different from the one in Iwatobi. It looks lost here, stranded in the overly lit sky above the city, a solitary firefly hovering among daunting skyscrapers, unsure of what to do with itself.

Running his fingers through Makoto’s tousled hair, Haru closes his eyes, and tries to dream the same dream as his lover.

He thinks back on the years they’ve already left behind them. In Iwatobi, during the summer holidays, when Makoto would linger at Haru’s house long after supper, and they’d open the screen door leading into the backyard to sit side by side on the steps, looking up at the moon.

The full moon above the ocean in all its glory.

Makoto’s tired eyes half-closed, as he drifted closer and closer, his head finally finding Haru’s shoulder.

How his skin was lit up by the bright lunar light, how his breath came in waves, like the song of the ocean caressing the shore.

How the first time Haru’s arm found its way around Makoto’s waist, surprised by how well it fit, by how fragile Makoto’s broad frame felt in his embrace.

Half-asleep, Makoto had smiled at him, and Haru knew it was okay, and they were going to stay that way forever. For as long as the moon shone down on the earth.

And the moon shone down like a wish fulfilled, looking down on the two of them, singing a low melody.

The silent song of the moon drifted down to earth on a stray breeze, past the night birds hovering in the air, past the drowsing leaves on slumbering treetops, through the overgrown grass in Haru’s backyard, past the three cats deep in conversation under a patch of heavy-headed sunflowers.

The sweetness of its wordless music surprised Haru as he tangled his fingers with Makoto’s, and woke Makoto up to find himself in Haru’s arms.

That night, the sharp violence of exploding fireworks in the night sky was replaced by a faint harmony only the two of them could hear.

Finally, finally.

Waking up, eyelids lowered as though still in half a dream, Makoto hadn’t pull himself away from Haru.

They’d looked at each other carefully, as if seeing the other for the first time, as if so many whispered secrets from all their years together had led to this moment.

Makoto rested his head back against Haru’s shoulder, without any pretense or hesitation.

And Haru’s lips placed a sweet kiss on the tip of Makoto’s burning ear.

And now, in the first little home they’ve made together, Haru smiles as Makoto mumbles in his sleep. Something about a cat dancing with the moon.

A cloud flutters across the face of the moon, hiding it from view.

In the moment it reappears, it shines as intensely as it did in Iwatobi on that night.

Haru gasps as the moonlight frames Makoto’s face, and he hears the same notes again, from all those years ago, after so long.

And Makoto smiles with his eyes closed, sighing deeply, happily.

As if he’s heard the same notes as Haru.

As if both of them can hear the song the moon gave them on that night in Iwatobi, its melody drifting through the years as they grow older, growing sweeter, leading them on, keeping them together.

It was hard, having to do this again.

Rin looked pretty similar the first time he was going to Australia, too…

But Haru knew he’d be happier this time. He could tell, from that radiant smile, from the light in his eyes. He looked hopeful.

“What’s that face for, Haru?” Rin asked, giving him a smirk.

Haru turned away, his cheeks reddening slightly. “I’m not making a face.”

“You are.”

“I’m not.”

“Aw, are you gonna miss me, Haru?” Rin said, practically singing and smirk still going strong as ever.

Despite not wanting to give Rin the satisfaction, a quiet “yes” ended up slipping from his mouth before he could turn away, face burning and not meeting Rin’s gaze.

“…Hey, Haru?”

Haru stayed quiet, slightly shifting his feet on the tiled airport floor.

Haru.”

And despite the crowds of people in the departure lounge around them, Rin moved even closer, cupping Haru’s chin in his hand and lifting his face ever so gently.

“…What…?” Haru grumbled embarrassedly, still not looking Rin in the eye.

“I-I’m going to miss you too, Haru.”

Surprised by Rin’s muffled-sounding words, Haru finally locked eyes with his boyfriend.

…Only to see his eyes growing a bloodshot red, tears prickling in the corners of them.

Haru gave a sigh, gently wrapping his arms around Rin (which wasn’t an easy task, considering the huge backpack on his shoulders).

“Don’t cry, Rin,” he muttered into his shoulder, not sure if Rin had even heard him through the din of the airport.

Rin gave a weak chuckle, hurriedly rubbing his sleeve over his eyes before wrapping his arms around Haru. “Yeah, sorry…”

They stayed like that for a few moments, wrapped in each other’s arms and breathing in each other’s scents, savoring it because they both knew that, being professional swimmers who lived oceans apart, they couldn’t be like this all the time. But Haru wasn’t worried about that. He knew that, as long as both he and Rin kept swimming, they would definitely see each other again.

Inhaling one more time, Haru finally let go of Rin, who didn’t seem all that pleased about it.

Haru smirked. “You’re the one making a face now.”

“I’m not!” Rin sputtered, cheeks tinging red.

“You…you should go now. You’ll be late,” Haru said, his smirk quickly fading away.
“You’re pouting again, Haru,” Rin said, quickly pressing a kiss to Haru’s cheek.

Haru looked away, because yes, he knew he was pouting, but what was he supposed to do about it? After all the times he’d had to say goodbye to Rin, Haru thought it’d get easier. Truth be told, it was still just as hard. It was hard saying goodbye to someone you loved, even if you knew you were going to see them again.

“Well, I’m off now!” Rin gave Haru a quick little hug before letting go, smirking. “Don’t slack off because I’m not there, Haru. You’d better keep up you’re timings, or I’m gonna beat you!”

Haru couldn’t stop a small smile from forming on his lips. “We’ll see about that.”

“Oh, we’ll definitely see!” Rin said, waggling his tongue the slightest bit before turning around, pulling his suitcase over to the check-in area. They’re eyes met one more time before Haru lost sight of Rin in the crowd, but he could’ve sworn Rin had been smiling.

Haru sighed, turning in the opposite direction and walking towards the airport’s exit. He felt that lingering sadness, of course, but he also felt something else. This…hopefulness. He knew Rin was swimming, and he knew Rin was happy, and that was honestly enough.

He’d wait until he saw Rin again.

Rin and Rei didn't get on friendly terms right away after regionals, but they held no animosity for each other either. After all the drama in the group cleared up, they hit it off pretty well. After practice one day at the Iwatobi pool, Rei insisted that he would be the one to see Rin to the train station. He even produced a few coupons for that new mackerel burger place, enough to cause a distraction. Mister Speedo Glasses sure knew how to play his friends. As Haru-related chaos ensued, the both of them started on their way to the train station.

"Remember that one time, not too long ago, when you attempted to teach me how to swim the other strokes?"

Rin remembered too well, Rei sunk like a stone back then and they had to call it quits before they could make any progress. Despite how little sense it made, Rin figured that it takes all kinds. "Attempted, yeah."

Rei narrowed his eyes, Rin responded with a grin full of teeth.

"So, you still wanna learn how to swim?"

"Correct. I could hardly consider myself worthy of participating in competitions if I don't at least know how to do all of the strokes!"

"Well, I gotta say. It is weird that you can do butterfly, but you can't even get the basics-- "

"Excuse me, Rin-san," Rei said, clearly bristling. "But I'm very well aware of that by now! And being reminded of this sore spot of mine is--"

"Okay, damn! I was just sayin--"

"And there is no need!"

This volley of interruptions could go on for a while longer, but Rin relented with a sigh. It's not like he didn't have sore spots himself, or wouldn't react the same way. Even if it defies all logic.

"I do have some free time after practice, so where do you want to meet up?"

"Ah, you see," Rei started, no doubt about to finish his sentence with a flourish, "I want this to be a surprise!"

Rin raised a thin eyebrow. "Oh?"

The glare of the sun low in the sky caught on Rei's glasses, but the glimmer in his eyes was still impossible to miss. "I want to see the look in their eyes when they've seen me do what they thought I could not for so long! I'll take the train to Sano and meet you at your school after your practice. How does that sound?"

One thing about Rei that Rin quickly learned to appreciate about Rei was his tenacity, and how he always said everything as a when, not an if.

"Alright, I'll do it."

"Thank you very much, Rin-san--"

"But don't tell anyone about this, alright?"

Rei was the one looking confused now, glasses riding up his face as with his eyebrows. "Why not?"

"Well, I just-- I don't know," Rin rubbed the back of his neck and looked away, speeding up his walking pace. "It's not like they need to know who taught you or anything, right?"

"If that's what you prefer." Rei sounded unsure. "How are they going to believe that I learned all of the strokes on their own?"

Rin turned back to Rei to give him an elbow to the forearm. "Don't even worry about that! What you should be thinking about is swimming. Swimming, swimming, and more swimming!" He crossed his arms, giving his best authoritative look.

"We'll have as many training sessions as we need until we get you doing those other strokes. And I definitely don't want you telling me it's too tough or giving up, got it?"

With no sign that he was daunted at all by these words, Rei responded: "Yes!"

(I've been sitting on this prompt since like day 2 and I have only wanted to do it justice with something nice...but this was the best I could come up with, I'm so sorry ;;)

I’ve spent too much of my life
Looking behind me
Thinking of
What ifs
And
What could have been
And
W h y

I’ve spent too much of my time
Looking forward
And
Thinking of the future
Like the flip of a coin
Like the pig said
“The past is the past”

The past is the past
And all that matters
is the future.

That is
Until
I met You

I’ve wasted so much of my life
Looking back
And then
Looking forward

But recently
The only place
I find myself looking is
At You
Here and now
Standing beside me

I never
Want to look away
Again.

They go see the ocean together, pant legs rolled up and cold sparkling water lapping at their ankles. Slow feet treading further and further out from the shoreline. Furuya’s hand hovers between Sawamura’s shoulder blades, fingers tracing an imaginary number. Their summer has long ended and the skies are overcast, but even in the hazy sunlight, there’s a warm gold outlining Sawamura’s profile. When he tilts his face up towards Furuya, big bright eyes and a quirk to his mouth, Furuya lets his fingers fall, bumping against the warm curve of Sawamura’s spine.

“What is it,” Sawamura asks, leaning in closer with a tilt of his hip. “We’re not in that deep,” he says, curling his fingers around Furuya’s arm; even with his toes balanced precariously on slippery rocks and wet sand, he stretches up with a dangerous arch of his back. “Are you afraid of falling?”

There’s a curve to his mouth that Furuya traces with his eyes. A hundred different angles and shapes to Sawamura’s loud moving mouth but there’s always something familiar about it. Pink and soft and warm. Furuya licks the salt from his lips and turns his face away, faint sunlight skimming his cheeks as he presses his fingers harder against Sawamura’s back.

“Hey,” Sawamura shouts, stumbling forward a little. His grip tightens around Furuya’s arm, voice catching on a gust of wind, “Furuya! You – “ Always that tone, Furuya thinks, chasing him down. Thundering feet and a warm breath at the back of his neck.

This far out, the waves crash into their knees, water breaking into salt on their skin and Furuya can taste it on his tongue, can feel it settle on him like a cloud of mist, drying like caked-on tears.

Sawamura tugs a little harder on Furuya’s sleeve, huffing a sigh as he swivels around to push into Furuya’s frame of view. From this angle, Sawamura's face is shadowed in diffusive planes, a flash of some strange and bittersweet emotion flickering across his face like light rippling under the surface of the water.

"It'll be a while before you see this again, huh?" Sawamura sighs, eyes turning towards the horizon. He tucks his elbow close against Furuya's ribs, sharp bones and warm skin, that same proximity, familiar and unshakably constant.

Furuya hums quietly, swaying a little closer towards Sawamura. "Tokyo skyline," he murmurs, hip brushing up against Sawamura, hand sliding over the curve of his shoulder. There is so much blue around them, stretching wide around them and curving up above them as far as they can see.

“‘Tokyo skyline,’” Sawamura laughs, his shoulders shaking lightly against Furuya’s side. "Only you would call this the 'Tokyo skyline,'" Sawamura says, the corners of his eyes crinkle with a smile. “But it is a nice view,” he says, looking up at Furuya. His mouth twists into a grin, fast and easy, “You better not get soft back in Hokkaido." Teeth flashing like sharp white points in his mouth. “Nippon Ham Fighters or not, you better not be all droopy when you come back."

The elbow pushing up close and hard against Furuya’s ribs should hurt, but he only leans in closer, curling loose limbed and heavy over Sawamura’s shoulder. "I'm going to be working hard here too," Sawamura rambles, mouth moving loud and fast, shoulders shifting under Furuya's weight. "Just because I'm not going pro just yet doesn't mean you can slack off," he says. There’s sea foam around their legs and sparse sunlight against his neck and Sawamura’s hair, soft and misty against his face. The sound of Sawamura's voice slips in between the ebb and flow of the waves, crashing against their knees before slipping far and away towards the curving edge of the horizon.

“You’re so annoying,” Furuya mutters, lips fluttering light against Sawamura’s skin, warm breath catching in his throat when Sawamura tilts his face up. "You're annoying," Furuya says again, louder as Sawamura's elbow twists against his ribs. His words trail off with half-hearted exasperation, lips pursed and pushing forward to close the small gap between them. The gold in Sawamura's eyes shimmer until his eyelashes flutter closed. There's blue spread out all around them and sea salt on their tongues when he kisses the crooked scowl of Sawamura's mouth. Here with his feet in the cold ocean and the open sky stretched wide above them, everything feels big and far. He presses in closer to Sawamura, eyes squeezing shut as he kisses him harder. Warmth blossoms out of the cold as Sawamura pushes back against him, stubborn mouth chasing after him until there's nothing but the sound of their hearts beating warm and loud in his ears.

warning for talk (but not use) of sex toys. well i went a totally different route with this (it counts right? right?) unapologetically co-inspired by a recent buzzfeed article. word count: 1055

“Hey, do you see this?”

“Hm?” Shibayama pauses to see Inuoka stopped before a window. He backtracks to peer at whatever Inuoka’s happily pointing at, expecting to find a tray of food or a sweets shop or the promotion poster to an upcoming movie. What he does see makes his eyes grow wide.

“Okay,” Shibayama says.

“Doesn’t that one look sweet? The fur looks so soft! Haven’t you thought about what it’d be like to have a tail?”

“If you had one it would be wagging all the time.”

“Woof,” Inuoka says around a crooked grin. Shibayama bites his lip and tries not to laugh. “Didn’t people have them a long time ago though? Tails, I mean.”

“A long time ago if you’re talking about tails with primary functions, like what cats and dogs use for balance. We just have tailbones now, the coccyx. It’s a remnant of a vestigial tail that are found in humans and apes, and some other primates, and a lot of people think they’re completely useless now like the appendix – which you do actually need after all - but if you look at the embryo of any mammal during a certain point in its development you would be able to see a tail, even in humans, so we do kind of still have them for a few weeks in the womb if you think that counts—“

“Yuuki,” Inuoka interrupts, making him aware of his rambling. “You’re really smart.”

Shibayama smiles and turns his head back to the window, eyes immediately landing on a pair of fuzzy handcuffs wrapped around a manikin’s wrist. Reluctantly, he remembers where they’re at.

“Hey,” Inuoka asks in dreadfully perfect timing, “Do you think they have a tail that matches my hair color in here? Maybe I could dye a white one if they don’t. I wonder if they have those Necomimi ears too.”

Shibayama glances up and down the street before clearing his throat. “Sou? Are you… Do you know what this is?”

“Yeah,” Inuoka answers, aiming a winsome smile at him. It’s a costume shop. “It’s a sex shop.”

Shibayama’s heart leaps out of his chest a little, and he stares at Inuoka’s disappearing back in muted horror as a little doorbell jingles to signal their entrance. He’s not sure if he wanted to know that Inuoka knows what a sex shop is, or how the other first year feels so comfortable humming an aimless tune of ‘ooh’s and ‘ahh’s while passing an endless display of dildos in increasingly alarming shape and size, all of which Shibayama tries very hard not to ogle for fear of his parents somehow finding out about their raunchy foray into a place he doesn’t think minors are allowed to visit. It’s a slow week day and there’s no one behind the counter. Shibayama prays it stays that way as he quickens his steps to catch up to Inuoka.

“Hitachi Magic Wand,” Inuoka’s reading from a little placard akin to museum quotes placed next to priceless works of art. “’Simple design, incredible power, and long-lasting quality... The Magic Wand is best suited to those who enjoy deep, powerful vibrations, this wand can be enjoyed by beginners and advanced users alike... Pleasing housewives since the seventies.’ Wow. That’s, like,” Inuoka’s hand reverently curls over the tennis ball sized vinyl head. “Historical.”

“Mhm,” Shibayama agrees, tight-lipped. He turns around when Inuoka picks the vibrator up and turns it on. He closes his eyes. He’s not going to survive.

Behind him Inuoka giggles. “You know what this reminds me of?”

“What?” Shibayama asks, curious despite his growing horror.

“Evanesco!” Inuoka shouts, extending the wand with a flourish.

If only, Shibayama thinks, but he hears a tremulous burst of laughter fly out of his mouth anyway. Inuoka, seemingly satisfied by the response, begins rolling the vibrator up and down his arm, and Shibayama has to look away again except there’s really no safe place to let his gaze settle for very long. The back wall reminds him of the prize wall at arcades, jam packed with an overwhelming amount of sex toys in colorful boxes. There’s even a bright blinking sign boldly declaring that SEX IS BACK.

A woman suddenly appears from the back room, looking rushed and apologetic.

“I’m sorry for the delay, I didn’t hear anyone come in until- are those high school uniforms?”

“Oh, hi.” Undaunted, Inuoka drops the Hitachi Magic Wand, where it jitters frantically across the counter. Alarmed and painfully polite, Shibayama picks it up, flips the switch off, and sets it back onto its little pedestal. “I’m looking for a tail!”

That’s it, Shibayama thinks, turning on heel. He’s outside in a blur of second, heaving great breaths of relief as soon as the door jingles shut behind him. He rubs a hand over his face and waits for his heart to stop pounding. There's a bank right next door. Why couldn't they have gone into the bank instead?

Inuoka bursts out the door a minute later.

“I'm so sorry! We can get out of here!” He winds an arm around Shibayama’s shoulders and steers them back onto the sidewalk. “Are you okay?”

“Yep.”

“You can tell me to stop when I do stuff like that that makes you uncomfortable. I won’t be angry.”

“I know,” Shibayama replies. “But you seemed excited about the tail. You didn’t buy anything?”

“She said I couldn’t.” Inuoka glances down at him with that quiet, contemplative frown that always reminds him of just how perceptive he is, but then, like the sun appearing from behind a shroud of clouds, it’s replaced by a warm and beaming smile matched by a squeeze to his shoulder that makes affection creep up the back of his neck.

“You’re the best, Yuuki,” Inuoka announces, and then without further preamble, “Do you want to grab some ice cream?”

“Ugh,” Shibayama groans. “Yes please. Your treat.”

“My treat,” Inuoka agrees, sliding his hand down his arm until he can twine two fingers around Shibayama’s. Shibayama wiggles his hand until they’re properly laced together.

It’s hard to match paces with Inuoka’s loping strides but they eventually find a tempo for each other. Inuoka swings their arms back and forth, looking content with the world.

If he had one, Shibayama wonders if his tail would be wagging too.

SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG HELLO

918 words, no warnings apply

Tetsuya watches two figures move through the haze of his heavy head and the sweat beading on his skin. As Tetsuya brings a clean towel to his brow, his boyfriend's fingers skim across the shoulder of his boyfriend, or rather, other boyfriend.

Through eyes lidded with fatigue, he sees the basketball court like a expansive map and witnesses Aomine narrowly avoid Kagami snatching the basketball from him, gaze like a flicker of light as his lips turn up in satisfaction. The drizzling of rain against the roof, squeaking of shoes, and turning of footsteps echo sharply against the walls of the gymnasium, void of activity minus the three young flames of teenagers beneath its roof. Aomine holds the ball over his head as Kagami lurches toward him and manages a jump that Tetsuya still has to marvel at, even after watching the boy do it countless times. The live-wire smile Kagami throws at Aomine before he turns the ball to his favor and dribbles it to the other side of the court pushes a spark into Tetsuya's stomach. To be blunt, Tetsuya is proud of the lights he gives the spotlight to.

Tetsuya knows others consider him to be a good people watcher, and he won't deny it, but he wonders if people know /why/ he does it. His gaze is down at the legs of the teenagers scuffling for the ball on the court in front of him. He can't help but make note of the way the muscles in Kagami's calves tighten and loosen, and how Aomine's feet can move without an onlooker's perception of clear intention, but end up where he was aiming all along. To Tetsuya, everything is natural, everything is in its place, and he wouldn't change it for the world. He and he and his partners have shoes to grow into, but he will roll along with it and carry on his way.

"Oi, Tetsu, you still gonna join back in?" Aomine questions, gaze still fixed on Kagami's grip on the ball. Kagami dribbles from hand to hand and catches Tetsuya's eyes, and Tetsuya senses a hint of pleading in the fire of his irises.

Tetsuya nods. "In a minute."

Aomine smacks the ball from Kagami when he's distracted and gains the upper hand. Kagami fights a fleeting look of distress off his face and charges ahead in hot pursuit of his boyfriend. Aomine is laughing, Kagami is hurtling an insult his way, and Tetsuya can't help the smile that comes to his lips.

When Tetsuya no longer feels pressure on his lungs and a desperate need to take in air, he rises to his feet and throws a glance to his companions struggling for a claim on a basketball. They aren't looking Tetsuya's way, and he waits for Kagami to gain the advantage so he'll be more concerned with the feeling of his skin on the ball than Kuroko's movements. Aomine, in turn, fixates on the rough hands of Kagami's he would have liked to hold right beside Tetsuya's.

In a lighting strike, Tetsuya circles around Aomine and Kagami before they even register that he has moved, swipes the ball from under Kagami's nose, and shoots it into the basket just like Aomine taught him. The net sways, the ball bounces, and no one says a word.

The silence is broken by bodies against bodies. Aomine and Kagami crash against Tetsuya with their rumbles of laughter and praise, Kagami ruffling Tetsuya's hair and Aomine locking him into a hug that is dangerously close to a spontaneous chokehold.

"Where did you even come from?" Kagami laughs next to Tetsuya's ear.

"That's our Tetsu." Aomine presses his smile onto Tetsuya's face in a kiss.

"You're amazing, Kuroko." Kagami agrees.

Kagami follows Aomine's suit, and in no time Tetsuya's face is bombarded with kisses from all sides. Aomine is the first to reach his lips, and he returns the third-or-so peck that he registers on his mouth. Both boys are trying to land kisses on his lips at the same time. He returns them as they come, passing from lips to lips and feeling a little dizzy from the heat.

You're both too much, Tetsuya thinks, but he is smiling, and his stomach settles into the calm and warmth of skin on skin.

When the trio pauses from their flurry of kisses to take air into their lungs, Tetsuya examines his boyfriends as they catch their breath. He crosses his arms and gives both of them a knowing look, and when they meet eyes, Tetsuya can imagine the shrug that has quit coming to shore in both of their bodies. Aomine places his hand on Kagami's neck, and Kagami leans into him as their mouths meet. Tetsuya uncrosses his arms, satisfied.

Kagami and Aomine walk for their bags with Tetsuya between them, hands resting on the small of his back. He makes a comment about how sweaty the boys are, and they start up complaints in the same instant, earning a chuckle from Tetsuya. He suggests that they all take baths together, and he shuts up their griping in an instant.

Tetsuya and his partners exit the gymnasium, sights set on the blinking lights of the train station ahead. Tetsuya is grateful for the rain letting up to a drizzle, because he doesn't want to let go of the warm hands he holds with his own. From the looks of content on Aomine and Kagami's faces, they also wouldn't have it any other way.
