SASO 2015 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).
PLAY BALL! For this round, we'd like you to take inspiration from songs, sayings, poems, and other kinds of famous words.
Because this is our first full round, please read this post carefully before proceeding!
This round ends at 7PM on June 13 EDT. Countdown Timer.
RULES
- Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
- Example: "Hi-ho, Kermit the Frog here!" -Kermit the Frog
- The quote can come from anywhere. Famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, your neighbor, etc.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Yachi & Kiyoko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Yachi/Kiyoko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!

When Iwaizumi Hajime and Oikawa Tooru moved back in with each other after university, they never anticipated that their happy cohabitation would grow to include a third willing participant. Much less did they anticipate that on nights in which the moon bared itself in full view of the bedroom window, that they would find themselves all wrapped together, half-lidded eyes catching for a moment as concern washed over them.
Within the tangled mess of limbs upon their bed shook a very distraught Sugawara Koushi, deep sobbing into Iwaizumi’s chest as Oikawa delicately nuzzled the nape of Suga’s neck.
Suga had moved in with Iwaizumi and Oikawa after a falling out with his former roommate, someone Suga refused to name as Oikawa found himself yelling at Iwaizumi to “give the person that hurt Mr. Refreshing a piece of my mind.” Iwaizumi crossed his arms and refused Oikawa’s overdramatic outcries, to Suga’s relief.
Suga never told them that his former roommate was actually a boyfriend. Over the course of their relationship, there were acts in which Suga instigated the advances willingly, and other times there were advances brought on by the boyfriend that Suga would rather forget. Every full moon reminded Suga bitterly of their breakup so vividly that it caused Suga to have hideous nightmares, remembering the positions of submission that were required of him with this stain on the fabric of humanity on the final night before Suga ran away.
If one lets oneself be tamed, one runs the risk of weeping. Suga took this risk, not expecting to tumble as far down the rabbit hole as he did. Now that he was out of that place and in the arms of a couple that took him in without asking anything of him that he wasn’t comfortable giving, Suga clung to Iwaizumi and Oikawa at night, thankful for their quiet acceptance of his presence squeezed between the two.
Oikawa tentatively wrapped his arms around Suga’s sides, holding him at his stomach and never daring to drift lower, lest Suga’s sobbing intensified. He didn’t want to risk losing what trust Suga had bestowed on the two of them, apparent in how Suga never brought up the night tremors to anyone and denied lack of sleep during conversations with old friends over the phone in the daytime.
Iwaizumi placed a single kiss to Suga’s forehead as Oikawa began to sing a series quiet lullabies, humming an interlude in between to link the songs together. Suga continued to shake but began to hum broken harmonies with Oikawa’s songs and Oikawa exchanged glances with Iwazumi over Suga’s head, noting the progress. Iwaizumi’s thumb rubbed lazy circles over Suga’s shoulder as Oikawa snuggled up closer and reached over to Iwaizumi side as Suga’s shaking finally began to subside while the sky was still night, the first time in months.
Nestled between the two in song, Suga finally drifted to sleep.
