Bonus Round 4: Official Art
Bonus Round 4: Official Art
This round is CLOSED. Late fills can be posted, but they won't receive points.
Memorable canon moments, bizarre omakes, tantalizing magazine spreads—this is the round to explore them all. Bring out your screencaps, promotional art, and manga pages, and let's talk about what really happened.
Please read the rules carefully before posting!
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a canon screencap from one of our nominated fandoms along with a ship. Screencaps can be from an anime or manga, as well as any other kind of offshoot media, e.g. official art, drama CD covers, light novel illustrations, magazine covers, and/or caps from games. Doujinshi, fan-made games or any other fan-created work should not be prompted, even if you receive permission. Only prompt screencaps that are taken from a piece of canon media.
- Keep your prompt concise. Don't prompt a whole manga chapter, for example.
- Upload the cap somewhere (imgur works well) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Riko & Momoi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Riko/Momoi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work inspired by the cap.
- Fills can be directly connected to the cap, e.g. panel redraws or writing fic that fleshes out the moment that was capped or that fleshes out what happened directly before/after, but fills can also be more indirectly linked. As long as the work is somehow inspired by the cap, it counts.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

PROMPT: TEAM KAGEYAMA TOBIO/OIKAWA TOORU
Re: PROMPT: TEAM KAGEYAMA TOBIO/OIKAWA TOORU
FILL: TEAM ARAKITA YASUTOMO/FUKUTOMI JUICHI, G
FILL: SWAG 2016, no tags
(Anonymous) 2016-01-10 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)This was the most nerve-wracking thing Kageyama had ever done. Oikawa stood there across the sidewalk, waiting for him.
"Oikawa-san," Kageyama started. "I like y -- "
"Hey, Kageyama!" hollered Hinata, coming running from the gym. "What's going on? And is that -- ooh, it's the grand king!"
"Goddammit," Kageyama muttered under his breath.
The next time Kageyama managed to get Oikawa alone, it was when Oikawa was coming out of teaching his volleyball for tykes class. He was glad that he knew that Oikawa worked here now; Oikawa was surprised but not unfriendly when Kageyama approached him.
"Tobio," he said, his eyes narrowed. "What can I do for you today?"
"I wanted to finish what I was saying the last time we were -- alone." Kageyama mumbled the last word under his breath.
Oikawa blinked at him expectantly.
"Oikawa-san, I like -- "
"Kageyama?" Hinata's voice seemed to come out of nowhere. "I didn't know you attended Aoba Johsai's volleyball for kids class."
"I don't!" Kageyama snapped, whipping around. Hinata was coming out from the building, the hand of a small child in his hand.
"Oh, what are you doing here then?" Hinata asks. "My cousin comes here, so I had to pick him up. Ooh!" He noticed Oikawa then. "Hi, grand king."
Oikawa looked baffled. "Hi shorty," he said.
Kageyama huffed. "Never mind."
This time, Kageyama's plan was foolproof.
He was sure of it.
He waited in front of Aoba Johsai in the morning. It wasn't on the way to Karasuno, and they didn't have practice this morning, so there was no reason for Hinata to get up early.
Kageyama waited.
And then he saw Oikawa coming down the pathway. "Oikawa-san," Kageyama muttered under his breath, jogging toward him. He was not going to lose this opportunity.
Then Hinata appeared out of nowhere.
He possibly flew, landing in the pace between Oikawa and where Kageyama was approaching him.
Hinata flung his arms to the sides.
"Oikawa-san!" he yelled. "I like you!"
Kageyama seethed.
"What the hell, you dumbass?" he said, grabbing Hinata by the shoulders and flinging him around. "I was going to confess to him first!"
Hinata blinked at Kageyama in confusion. "What are you talking about? I don't remember you confessing to Oikawa-san."
"I was -- I was going to but you kept fucking interrupting -- "
"What are you even talking about, bakakageyama?"
As they squabbled, Oikawa stared between them emptily.
He would've told them that he returned the feelings for both of them, but they were too busy fighting.
What was new.
