Bonus Round 4: Official Art
This round is CLOSED. Late fills can be posted, but they won't receive points.
Memorable canon moments, bizarre omakes, tantalizing magazine spreads—this is the round to explore them all. Bring out your screencaps, promotional art, and manga pages, and let's talk about what really happened.
Please read the rules carefully before posting!
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a canon screencap from one of our nominated fandoms along with a ship. Screencaps can be from an anime or manga, as well as any other kind of offshoot media, e.g. official art, drama CD covers, light novel illustrations, magazine covers, and/or caps from games. Doujinshi, fan-made games or any other fan-created work should not be prompted, even if you receive permission. Only prompt screencaps that are taken from a piece of canon media.
- Keep your prompt concise. Don't prompt a whole manga chapter, for example.
- Upload the cap somewhere (imgur works well) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Riko & Momoi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Riko/Momoi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work inspired by the cap.
- Fills can be directly connected to the cap, e.g. panel redraws or writing fic that fleshes out the moment that was capped or that fleshes out what happened directly before/after, but fills can also be more indirectly linked. As long as the work is somehow inspired by the cap, it counts.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

“Good practice today, Tadokorocchi,” Makishima said, still toweling off their hair.
Tadokoro thanked them and returned the sentiment, going about his post-practice routine. To Maki, it felt nice. Familiar. Everything was just as it should be, without words needed to get meaning across.
“Do you want to visit the park after this?” Maki asked.
Tadokoro shook his head, and quickly explained that he was needed at the bakery.
“Maybe I can drop by later then, before it gets too late,” Maki decided.
This seemed to suit Tadokoro just fine. He closed his locker, before making sure to confirm their weekend plans.
Makishima laughed. “Of course, Tadokorocchi. You know I’m looking forward to it.”
Tadokoro seemed pleased by this before turning to leave, waving a goodbye. Makishima returned the goodbye with a smile before turning back to their routine.
Before Makishima could finish up in the locker room, Naruko sidled up next to them, seeming confused.
Maki side eyed him. “Is there something I can do for you?”
“Makishima-senpai,” Naruko began. “I need to ask you about Old Man. This is driving me nuts.”
“Tadokorocchi?” Makishima asked.
Naruko nodded. “Yeah. It’s just.” He made a few hand gestures, with muddled noises to match, but when Makishima still gave him a clueless look, he sighed. “He’s a bear,” he said bluntly.
Makishima hummed at this, considering. “I suppose he is kind of big, so you could say…”
“No,” Naruko interrupted. “I mean a bear. Like an actual bear from the zoo. At first I though you third-years were pranking us or something, but it’s been weeks, and no one has said anything. Not even Hotshot or Onoda-kun…”
Makishima stared at him, wide-eyed. “Oh thank God, you see it too.”
“What?” Naruko asked. “Of course I see it. It’s obvious! He’s a huge grizzly bear!”
“Well, yeah,” Makishima said, shrugging. “But, when I met him. Well, we were introduced to each other when we joined as first years. I thought it was a prank too at first, like he was one of those Russian bears that ride the unicycles or something. But no one said anything, and then I got to know him and. Well, I thought it might be rude to ask.”
“Rude?” Naruko spat. “He is an actual bear!”
Makishima frowned. “That doesn’t mean he’s not a person.” At Naruko’s disbelieving stare, they shrugged. “Well, you know what I mean.”
“But it’s been three years since you met him, and you never asked?”
“It never came up,” Makishima said.
Naruko groaned. “How do you even understand him? All he does is growl.”
“It gets easier to understand once you get to know him,” they said with a shrug.
“That’s another thing though!” Naruko said. “You’re dating him, aren’t you? How are you dating an actual bear?”
“Well, I was a little surprised when he first asked me out. I mean, I never really thought about him romantically until he brought it up, but it’s been working out really well…”
“That’s not what I mean,” Naruko said, waving a hand. “I mean he’s an animal.”
Makishima blushed. “Well, if you really want to know that…”
“No!” Naruko shouted. “I especially do not want to know that!” He sighed. “But that is a good point. I mean how would you… You guys don’t… Wait, please don’t tell me.”
Makishima smirked. “Is there anything else, Naruko-san?”
Naruko grumbled slightly. “No. I guess not. At least I know I’m not crazy.” He began stalking away. “Comparatively anyway.”
Makishima chuckled to themself. “Sprinters. They’re all so eccentric.”
