Bonus Bonus Round: Encore

SASO 2015 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).


This is your last chance to get fills for unloved prompts from all previous rounds. Let's party!

(Pay attention to the prompt format this round, located below; it's different from previous rounds. Don't forget about the "Recs" bonus round either!)

This round ends at 7PM on August 22 EDT. Countdown Timer.

RULES

• NO NEW PROMPTS ALLOWED. It has to be a repost from a previous bonus round.
• You can repeat any previous bonus round prompt, whether it received fill(s) or not.
• You can repeat your own prompts.
• One prompt per post, post as many times as you want.
• If you're posting a prompt that's not yours originally, please check the toplevels to avoid posting repeats.
• Fills work the same way as every other round: don't fill your own or your teammates' prompts, including old reposted prompts. It works like this:
  • Your teammate posts a prompt that was originally posted by a different team? You can fill that.
  • Someone else posts a prompt originally created by you or your teammate? You cannot fill that.
  • You post a prompt originally posted by another team? You can't fill that either.
• Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
• Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

FORMAT

Bonus round shenanigans all happen in the comments below. Brand-new works only, please.

Required Work Minimums:

• 400 words (prose)
• 400px by 400px (art)
• 14 lines (poetry)

There is no max work cap.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

This was a mistake. Mihashi was sure. He had to run away now, or else Abe would look up, and --

"What is it?"

Crap.

"U-uhm," Mihashi stuttered out. He tried to look Abe in the eye, but Abe was cool and composed and Mihashi was nothing like that. Why couldn't he be anything like that? Where did Abe learn how to be like this? Maybe he could give Mihashi some tips, or --

"Did you want something?" Abe said, and Mihashi realized he was just standing here like an idiot, while Abe waited for him! Crap! He shouldn't keep him waiting, he probably had better things to do with his time. Mihashi told himself to calm down, tried to steel himself into some semblance of control.

"I -- I -- " Mihashi managed. Abe was still watching him, and Mihashi couldn't bring himself to raise his head. Abe had nice shoes, nice trousers, nice everything. Mihashi felt silly here with his shirt tucked into his pants and trying to remember how to talk to people without tearing up, to talk while breathing --

"I've always been your fan!"

Mihashi's wail come out like a shout around the classroom. Red flamed up Mihashi's cheeks; he didn't know how he'd managed to get the words out. It didn't sound right, and he couldn't leave Abe hanging there. This wasn't why he wanted to confess to him -- he had to ask Abe out! Abe would say yes or no, even if he didn't like Mihashi back -- and Mihashi hoped, hoped he would say yes, even though there was no way someone as cool as Abe would like him back --

He was startled out of his thoughts at the sound of a smack. Mihashi glanced up in alarm to see Abe saying, "Got it," an expression of clarity washing over his face.

And before Mihashi could add anything else, Abe was taking out a piece of notebook paper and scribbling on it. "Here you go," he said, looking self-satisfied as he handed it to Mihashi.

Mihashi read it.

"Um," Mihashi said, very confused.

"There you are," Abe said, with a single nod.

There was something wrong. Mihashi couldn't place it, but -- he knew Abe's name wasn't Yumeno Sakiko, he didn't know why Abe had given this to him, and now he had -- an autograph, that wasn't even Abe's autograph! Why did he say that he was Abe's fan? What if this was an elaborate prank Abe was playing on him, and people were going to bust out of the closet at any moment and laugh at him? He should've just said that he liked him!

"I -- I -- " Mihashi had to get this out before Abe could think otherwise.

"I want to be with you forever!"

That was -- not what he wanted to say, but it should be easy to understand, right? Maybe? He knew Abe was always busy; Mihashi had always seen him crouched over notebooks of all sorts in his free time. He always looked like he was studying and oh no, Mihashi was probably taking precious time out of his day, he should just turn around and walk away --

Abe said, "Want to come to my place now?"

This was not turning out the way Mihashi had expected.
